I was actual talking about the one after that. I see what you are saying.
The current gen stream to compensate not having enough memory to hold full level. While the next will have to backfill its larger memory to compensate hide loading times. I.e load enough to get the game started. A number of game 360 games stealth cache to HDD if you have one.
Whatever it takes to hid loading times. Being a Hard core PC gamer, I never had a problem with HDD install n the PS3. Still, ...
I don't storage will be the issue the next time round. It will be loading times. The next Gen will already have more memory, so I see a mandatory install to at least a HDD will be a must. The days optical disc loading will be over. Optical disks simple cannot deliver the read speeds of HDDs let alone SSDs
Imagine a consle with 3 Gigs. IF all data transferred from storagee was sequential, an decent SSD (OCZ vertex) would take 15 seconds, A western Digital caviar black 7200 RPM aro...
@Kushan
ATI only announced their Mobile and low end chips @ CES 2010, so they cannot be included in the sales figures to date. The 2M can only include 5750, 5770, 5850, 5870 and 5890 chips variants.

What else are they going to say? It's Nvidia. They are not known for being humble. remember, unified shaders would only become relevant once they released their version.
While each side compares the size of the bell ends, I will just pick the best of both consoles, LOl. Another year, another N4G c*** measuring thread.
The press are creaming themselves over this game. Must be the school teacher fetish. Have not had the chance to play m copy yet.
It obviously paid off to screw AMD for years and pay the fine later.
If this is the case, how on earth can you trust benchmarks that use programs compiled with Intel's compilers?
There are quite a few texture mods out there that will spruce it up a bit.
I actually preferred Morrowind to Oblivion. Still have the old disks for Morro.
Bought Mass effect yesterday. But I will pass today
The water was from the Nvidia Direct X Compute shader demo.

I would call that a spoof video rather than fake video.
@PandaMobile
Dirt 2 on 360 is 4xMSAA and a couple other, but not many.

Eg. Mirror's edge 360 1280x720 no AA, PC 8x MSAA 1080p, I played the other day. Not the best example. but a example
Not quite the 8 or 16x or 24xCFAA though
It is just as well I decided to put off my next GPU purchase to the 2nd half of 2010., So I can see what Nvidia actually brings to the table and it ATI brings out a [semi]refresh or not. I bought an SSD instead - the single biggest performance producer of my computer for years.
LOL. What a sorry excuse for an article. MN is the Xbox Live community manger, it is his job to promote stuff. So the new season start, don't you want people to know about it using all mediums.
At least read the article properly. It is a year by year countdown to 2010 not a ranking list. Good grief.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines was badly delayed because of the HL2 code theft. I stopped playing because I could not handle the bugs.
Although I played Mirror's Edge on the 360, I bought it again during the steam sale. I really like the clean architecture in this game.
I am playing Stalker:CS at the moment. the first, like the second used to break save with every patch. Hence, why I only got back to CS last week. I lost my original disk while moving from the U...
Games I just had fun playing regardless and in no particular order.
Halo:CE, SC:CT, Hitman: BM, GeoW, UC2, R6: Vegas, ICO, HL2, Deus ex (PC), Crackdown, Shenmue (as released in 200 in UK)
If Avatar game is going to be trashed, it is for its overall quality.
