Yes, there should be a DVD version. I bought my original HL2 on disk, lost it. But because it was a steam-powered game, I could download the Digi copy an infinite amount of time. How good it that?

I have three legit copies through work ($8 a pop) and one I bought as full whack upgrade. Two days after I installed the upgrade on my wife's iMac (After dealing with the infinite loop problem), the screen when black and told me I was a pirate. I managed to fix that though.

I personally gave the game a 9. That was because it tried to do something different like mirrors edge. The QTE were better implemented than say a GoW game.
It was a bit of a glitch fest. However, after struggling with PC games like the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. it was largely water of a ducks back.
As it is Activision, would read the fine print. Agreeing to thei terms and condition may end up selling your soul.
In an effrot to protect aganst piracy, Sony may have may have tied everyhing too closely to DRm chacks and double checks.
IF the worse happen and we have to send our PS3's back to Sony, I will be screwed as mine is a day on UK phat and I now live in the US.
The fact that offline game (99% of my PS3 game) is screwed is worryling. Good thing I finished HR on Saturday then.
I just hope the date and DRM issue does not lock us out of logging in altogether. Would not be funny if we all had to send our PS3s in.

PSN is still down for me. Tried to play KZ2. When I chose start, I get Trophy error - 2147416817. All the games I have at the mo, need trophies sync. So until they fix it, my PS3 is a brick.

Yes it was bit of a glitch fest. However, it did not stop me from finishing and enjoying a game. I personally gave it 9/10
My glitches:
1. The FBI agent first crime scene and junk yard level froze but the sound continued.
2. The playground scene froze.
3. Arrows were missing on a Shelby (visitor to app.) and Ethan level (power plant) so I could not progress.
4. The end credits were a bit of a jerk fest.
5. Screen tear much?
6. And the odd audio...
Have you actually read up pn googles os. Netboos with SSD only. There is a 90 minutes presentation on youtube.
All MS is saying for XP and Vista users id don't be an ass and update to the latest service pack. XP SP3 support until 2014 etc. So, no they are not soving W7 down anyones throat.
So far the glitches fon't detract from this great game. Because I looked at a cup in my kitchen before a guest arrived, when I offered them a glass of water, I could not pick the glass up. The control prompt would no longer visible, although my character kept telling me where the glass was. I just restart the game, this time not offering a drink.
I played MW2, but rented it. There was no way I was going to pay for a sore excuse for a glitchy MP component. Played the Sp and gave it back to blockbuster. Already got stung with MW1 and WaW.
Hey if I can survive having to restart S.T.A.L.K.E.R on the PC after every patch broke the game saves, the HR is not such a big deal.
Have you actually gone to their website or read the countless amounts of coverage on the dev system? Dev is performed on a PC and in real-time propagates to the 360 and PS3 dev kits. So tell me, how is this a port?
