I had my eye on this game when it was on PC (i don't have a gaming PC though). So i'm highly waiting for this title to hit the consoles. I don't even like RPG's but this one has my full attention.

Totally ingenious way to integrate trophies with HOME. Gives more incentive to get trophies as well.

That's the thing revolutionary to me i think gets thrown around way too much in todays gaming circles. A new gameplay mechanic reiterated on or refined isn't a "revolution" in gaming. Not in my opinion at least.

I don't deem Gears as revolutionary it only refined what Killswitch started (a game i actually played).

LittleBigPlanet isn't quite revolutionary because mods have been around for years. But it's definitely something near that word. How it brings ...

Octocamo was nice true but it's just a better version of the camo switching in MGS3. Not that revolutionary. It was pretty cool that it matches up with the textures you're nearby but it wasn't as revolutionary as it would have been if camo changing wasn't in Snake Eater. Yes i know you have the option to play either way action or stealth wise but the action is much more upfront and in your face. Hell it even has a battle "high" wear snake goes berserk after killing about 50 enemies ...

We already got the God of War Sackboy costume.

I liked MGS4 just like the next guy but to say it redefines the stealth genre is laughable in my opinion. Almost anyone that played the previous MGS titles will tell you that there's much more stealth in the other games. Stealth isn't nearly as prominent a role in MGS4 as it is in the other games. Hell MGS4 almost feels like a third person shooter for almost half the game. It's probably the biggest mar on it as far as i'm concerned (i'm a huge stealth/mgs fan).

It didn't innovate...

I got tempted t assassinate her a few times.... Once i did though because she bumped into me while trying to do one of those flag speed runs. I was PISSED. I usually ended up pounding those retarded dudes into oblivion though.

Best thing i read in the article was the idea (hint) about virtual chats with game producers and PR people in home. That sounds pretty interesting to me.

Try playing a fighting with a ps3 controller for longer than a hour and a half and you'll see what i'm talking about. How the buttons is designed they take a toll on your fingers with extended play.

Couldn't agree more. The only things i can say for sure that they should do for the sequel. The A.I didn't really ramp up until the last 3 assassinations. Better variety in missions would be a huge welcome as well. But they need to keep the social commentary about the times in there as well. i think that might have been one of the most overlooked things about the side missions was the social commentary about the times back then.

I agree with you too arrrgh. People overlook quite...

Oy how things have changed. I remember when selling 250,000 copies was incredible and almost unheard of. I remember when it didn't matter about review scores but how fun the actual game was. I remember when it was so a ton of niche titles that were fun and got recognition because they were different.

Now it only matters about meta scores, how many units sold and hype surrounding games pre-release. My how things have changed.

See that's the thing i don't think he's synced %100 yet. I think it'll be a gradual thing and by the time the (inevitable) 3rd game in the series comes out then you'll be able to play as desmond himself. My guess is that abstergo (or however you spell it) will try to find the remaining missing pieces by further following Desmonds lineage. Some other big plot points will unfold etc leading up to increased syncing with his past relatives.

You guys do remember that he KNEW he came ...

Why o' why didn't they change the d-pad to the one pictured in the first prototype controller photo. They could have kept the overall look of how it looks now but changed the d-pad.

Got to agree with the sentiment. LBP has only gotten better with time as the other users grasp and create new concepts for levels. Some of the best levels i've played hasn't been from the 50 story levels either. That geo dude's levels are totally insanely great. There's quite a bit of other creators who's levels are intelligent and quirky.

Not to mention if MM will release more new building tools over time. I'd love for them to do that.

This is going to be my first Blu-Ray movie purchase. Sucks that it doesn't have better extra features like movie commentary (i love that stuff more than the interviews) but i will greatly enjoy it.

I feel sorry for rpg lovers (JRPG lovers to be exact) i've never been into them myself but it's got to suck to have mediocre jrpg's coming out. Remember folks this title is multiplatform not 360 exclusive.

Actually it isn't the action game i've been waiting for that belongs to GoW3. Though Killzone 2 does look like a good FPS i very much look forward to getting when it comes out. Something i don't say often if ever (besides if i'm talking about Dues Ex 3).
