No multiplayer, f**king right there better not have been. Besides that the little bit that i was able to read sounds pretty awesome. Less boss fights than GoW 2 but more than 1 sounds just about right. I'm not interested in the graphics or whatever "Our graphics engine blah blah blha" is going to be said i want more gameplay details. Or just some better scans in general. GoW3 is the reason i brought my Ps3 so it goes without saying i'm a huge fan of the series.

It's 1.25 percent away from achieving the top score and a quarter of a point away from being a nine. Stop nitpicking. It seems to be a great game much more than ALOT of people and reviewers were expecting. Take the "victory lap" in knowing that your faith in GG/Sony was rewarded for what is looking like to be a great game.
Almost a 9 still a great score. Though i'm tired of people posting scans and such of reviews. I want to be able to READ the damn thing.
I actually read a long time ago that explaining the sudden stop of greek myth's actually Jaffe's idea. We'll see though, with impressions coming out soon we should get more clarity on the subject. Somewhat.
I'm a little sad from reading the interview that they aren't going to tell Jaffe's original story about where there is no more greek mythology. But i trust that the team will do a good job with the story.

I have to disagree from the ps3 only owners i've talked to most of them want Mass Effect or Gears over Left4Dead. I personally have no interest in L4D, specially since i still love TF2 and i'm looking forward to Killzone 2's multiplayer.
It's sad that people had to lose their job but i'm kind of glad. Eidos should focus on bringing out and getting right Deus Ex 3 and the eventual next Hitman game.

See i have a hard time classifying myself. I only own a Ps3 as far as current gen consoles go but that is because i love GoW/MGS. I can't really say about myself that i'm more preferential to the Ps consoles because i go with the console/s that have appealing games to me. I don't think it's a matter of which console "is better" but more of what the individual is looking for.
I guess you could call me a 1 console gamer for now. Until i get enough disposable income to buy...

I agree with some of the games on the list (Half Life, Tekken, Guitar Hero, Halo) but GoW? They don't even touch the fact that the story is quite awesome and the gameplay is done right with great style. I wouldn't call it just a repetitive hack and slash game since on the higher levels you do see the combat is more than just square, square, triangle. Yes Maken X is where you could actually deflect bullets with your sword. You actually played as the sword "brain jacking" people and taking their abilities and appearance. It was a extremely niche game being a first person slasher. I never played Mars Matrix but i played the sh** out of Giga Wing. There's a bunch of Shumps that i need to play on the Dreamcast.
Hey Kewlkat keep a eye out for Watchmen: The end is nigh. It's going to be a classic beat em up but downloadable and it'll have co op. I never read the watchmen graphic novel or anything like that but the game looks really good in my opinion. I was looking for the footage i just seen on X-Play on Wednesday night.
Picking the top Dreamcast games for me is like picking a needle out of a haystack. So many good titles to choose from. I need to break out my old dreamcast and give GigaWing and Maken X another whirl.
I actually read Planetxbox360 and it's actually a pretty good site. They aren't negatively biased against the ps3 and only really talk about the 360. No slander against the Ps3 from what i've read from their site at all.
I much as i love Sega this would be suicide. I don't think the games industry can support 4 consoles. Period. Sega should just stick to publishing and developing devs. They should make Platinum games a in house studio and buy them already. Bayonetta and MadWorld is already both looking really good.
