Except even if it bombs, they won't go the way of Sega.
Wasn't it announced in 2014?
E3 isn't a super relevant platform for big announcements anymore. News travels so fast simply through social media that all Nintendo needs to do is a Nintendo Direct focused on the console, it's features, and it's launch lineup. After that, the media will do the rest.
While a relatively barren holiday season for Nintendo seems like a bad move, it's better for them to secure a controlled, fully-realized reveal that can really show off the console and its game...
And was a very comfortable controller to use.
Websites have already been advertising it like crazy just by running ever single little NX rumor, and Nintendo hasn't had to do anything.
I don't think it's doomed to fail. Even if it has a slow start, this is just the beginning of this big emergence of VR. Give it a few iterations, and I could see it being the standard in the future.
So is this the year of VR? No, but that doesn't mean it won't be in a few more.
It's fake. I don't know why anyone else can't see this.
It looks like a 3d printed mockup of the leaked patent. It's super fake.
You guys are all idiots.
Haha
wut
Except that it did. They made it rain with the Wii.
They don't need to talk about it, everyone else is doing that for them.
There's really nothing wrong with 900p. Most people wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between 900p and 1080p, unless it was brought to their attention.
I imagine the reasoning behind a 900p resolution would be that it's a happy medium for both the handheld and the console itself to reach, while maintaining a stable high framerate.
You're ignorant.
They uhh... they all look the same.
Nintendo is super ultra mega strict as far as NDA stuff goes. Just because we haven't heard of dev kits being out there, doesn't mean there are none.
It wouldn't make a difference. He/she is just assuming dumb things that make no sense.
Nintendo will do what they always have. Innovate by going in a completely different direction as everyone else (even if it fails).
The thing is... you probably don't A) own a Wii U, and B) if you did, you'd still go back.
