I got to play this at an MLG event in October, and this game won me over. KZ 2 was one of the best shooter experiences I've had since Gears of War 2. And that's saying a lot. Now, it just comes down to this and Bulletstorm... Decisions, decisions...
The only problem I have with Chinese, Korean and Japanese developed MMOs is the fact that everyone is already so OP high-leveled once you log on. But, maybe this game is different. Looks excellent.
I liked how candid and honest they were about their grievances and optimism for the project. Well done.
I am not too familiar with the DSi Ware shop, since I've only been a DS and DS Lite owner. It's good to see that they're addressing the issues early on. Although, I have to say that I think the shopping experience is adequate on the Wii.
QTEs.. yuck. Besides that, this game is obviously geared toward a specific crowd of gamers. I'm sure once the game is released it will be that crowd that decides if this game is truly good. I'm sure general reviews will pretty much crap on this one.
These guys are definitely some strong up-and-comers. They've developed a really compelling game, with a strong background of shoot-em up influence.
Haha.. I remember playing the game on the N64, and beating it co-op with my brother. Memories...
However, I'm not even going to look at this game unless it's getting 9s and above, and not ironically.
I share your Ravens sentiment. Last week was super disappointing. At least the Caps are still playing well!
I'm excited to see what they're going to do with Isaac in this game now that he's going to be a fleshed-out and dynamic character.
I think this could be a knock-out title. Splash Damage makes incredible multiplayer games, and I know they'll go all out on this one. Diablo-style customization, multiplayer and id Tech 4? This could be a masterpiece.
I already have it for my ipod tough, but oh gud those new game modes look awesome.
Nothing new is under the sun.
It's as if they don't understand the rules of insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Welcome to the world of the Maddenization of video games. Madden has been at it for over 20 years and they STILL haven't gotten it right. Derpa derp, I hope you don't miss your $64.
I left off on TH 2, I'm going to just keep my memory of his game as flowery as possible.
I would love a high-end gaming computer. If that's too unreasonable, then DKC Returns or Epic Mickey. =P
Props for the Sin and Punishment pic. That game would be balls awesome if it got an overhaul.
I’ve never watched the VGAs personally. I actually kinda miss the days when E3 was the premiere source for new game news. Now games are being exposed in a trickle-down effect that just kills the buzz for me.
Haha, this is why I do On Live. I like saving money too much. Good on those that have this, though.
Haha, I remember doing this sort of thing on GT 4. I love grinding races for money.
I've always written about video games out of love, but I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't want to get paid for it. But, it truly has been a labor of love for myself. I've written for a handful of places, and I have developed a sense for when some sites are full of shit.
I do side with the notion that the internet is the wild west when it comes to content production. But, I also believe that the best can also rise over the course of time. I understand wha...
