@lukas, I agree although the original games never quite sold me. So this game has been a blast. But yeah, I can see there's some identity crisis with it.
Transparency helps. If your policies make you have to plead the fifth, then perhaps you should rethink some things.
This game sure is a Far Cry from the original Assassin's Creed.
seriously why bother with the time and effort of a 360/ps3 version of destiny & 360 version of titanfall?
Give those console laggers reason to join the next gen and THEY WILL. keep giving them games on their old systems and you keep that lagging audience... well, lagging.
"much of the same, but with boats. "
Well that's an oversimplification, I think.
Isn't that kind of why we need new consoles to begin with? Easier to develop for... I mean they had 8 years to max out the hardware and only a couple devs actually did. That's how complicated the PS3 was. That's unnecessary. Untapped potential or not, I'm glad we're on to consoles that are easier and faster to develop for.
Get the feeling most who download this will boot it up, go "cool." Then reboot back into Windows.
Spinal mentions using PC for things other than games.
Okay, I agree. I follow.
Spinal uses Office as example.
*leaves*
OS tweaks, options, removable hard drive, controller with charger built in. ability to uninstall tv software if you don't plan to use it for that.
you framerateophiles crack me up.
Veneno, whether you like it or not, mobile is shifting focus away from consoles. They see mobile gaming as an easier way to make simpler games. They also see those hundreds of millions of phones and tablets as gaming devices. So yeah, it's consoles vs. mobile for the attention of the publishers. It's not silly. Sadly, it's reality.
Guys can you imagine what Peter Moleneux would say about the cloud if he was still with Lionhead!?
We'll have our fair share of open world this gen. I'm fine with linear experiences if the story and setting are good. The setting seems to be awesome so they're half way there.
@sourav93, Eidos Montreal take great pride in what they do. Anyone who followed development of deus ex: human revolution knows this. Just because they might not have used the engine you wanted in their game doesn't mean they're not trying hard enough. The amount of changes they've already made to the game just based on community feedback alone is downright commendable.
can't justify full retail + monthly sub. I know these publishers want a big return upfront immediately but I think itll do more damage than good.
I admit I've gotten caught up in the fanboy wars, but you have to start looking at it like this: This isn't a war between sony & ms, the REAL war is Next-gen vs. Mobile gaming. Everyone should be happy both next gen systems are breaking records. That should hopefully help publishers see that consoles are where games truly thrive.
I don't get why 60fps is so crucial to a game like this to some of you. You'd give up 1080p for 60fps? Why? This is a slow, methodical game. Not some twitch shooter. I would rather 1080p so it looks sharper, personally.
Ill give MS credit that they definitely don't stop tweaking their OS.
I'd go for the PS4 North American southwestern midnight launch limited edition Wal-mart version
instead of the PS4 North American southwestern midnight launch limited edition Gamestop version.
But either of those will be better than the PS4 North American southwestern midnight launch limited edition Target version.
@Nocando have you played AC4?
