Both are very popular. But by their very nature, PS4 is bound to have a higher % of core gamers since it's mainly focused on games. Xbox One of course has a big emphasis on TV and I know 2 of my bosses at work got an XB1 for the TV stuff alone. Obviously MANY core gamers will get XB1 as well but from a % standpoint, XB1 has features that can and will attract some non-gamers/casual gamers.
I'm concerned EM is spreading themselves too thin perhaps... I'm sure they're still finalizing Thief to get it Gold, while working on DX: Universe & and now another unannounced project.
Negative on that... Deus Ex: Universe has been announced and Deus Ex is not a third person game. Eidos Montreal didn't go to painstaking efforts to make DX:HR appeal to the fans just to go and throw out first person altogether from the sequel.
The lighting is the big difference. Character models, animations... most the same.

After a few weeks with Assetto Corsa, no sim will ever be the same for me. They all feel like jokes.
I've spent many hours with this game as well as all previous entries in the Forza series and there just honestly isn't much of anything next-gen about this game. Visually it's slightly better than forza 4 but it's about what I would've expected a 360 version of forza 5 to look like. Then you figure in Half the cars, half the tracks you're left with a bad taste in your mouth. Why they're being rewarded for half the game is beyond me. If this exact game had been rel...
Itachi83, seeing your list, you're not part of the group I'm talking about.
Good grief... you guys aren't listing games you're stoked for, you're just padding what system it is you're rooting for and trying to sell others by listing essentially EVERY game coming out this year.
All the time with these comments... I can't wait for this year-- *lists every single game coming out, 2/3 of which commenter probably doesn't really care about*
@shadowrunner you know you can go to YouTube.com/tv on ps4 and it's like having the app right?
dude just say you're getting every known Wii U game coming out next time and save yourself some time.
I was thinking the same thing
8 MILLION passenger doors opened!
with those other games you mentioned, I think you should especially get thief. I think that'll be an awesome change of pace from the other intense shooters.
God and I thought kinect was a gimmick...
OH LOOK!

@bullymangLer Yeah... you exposed him alright. Because absolutely no one on earth could possibly not be blown away by yet another Mario game. No one on Earth could possibly like any of those other games more than Mario. No on Earth would possibly buy a PS4 over a Wii U. Wait.
@Vegamyster Think he meant games that would appeal to wide market, not a niche market.
The most aimless, ADD targeted game I've ever played. I guess I'm just finally GTA'd out. Used to be it was the only sandbox game around but now that there are so many (and so many more focused and more intriguing ones for that matter) I just don't find GTA as exciting anymore.
This game sold me on what an iPad game can be just like MGS sold me on what console games could be back in 1998.
How many more of these articles will there be I wonder... And, just hypothetically speaking, at what point should we count it out? If sales continue to be less than desirable? If third party support remains a baron wasteland? If they stop production completely?
The only way a console can be counted out is on an individual basis. It's not some blanket fact. Unless production is stopped. That's pretty concrete.
