Ah the power of youtube quality... where you can't tell the diff between a ps3 and ps4 game. Seriously this video is a HORRIBLE example of the differences between the two versions. although I gotta say as good as the hair physics are on ps4, the fact that her hair is unfettered by gravity is quite funny.
personally I'm tired of games not being able to decide which they want. I want a game to be all one way. I didn't like the 3rd person aspect of DX:HR and honestly wanted the first person immersion of thief in human revolution.
if the success of last of us is hurting gaming then breaking bad is hurting the rest of TV.
Watching these clips actually makes me want to boot up Ghosts again.
Even the guy on IGN said if he's seriously competitively playing this game, he'd mainly use his mech as a distraction and only play in human form... exactly what I was thinking watching these videos. I'd rather be smaller and faster using jetpacks and jumping off walls than be confined to a big mech. So that'd be AI Mech with AI bots...cool. that's like an 85/15 ratio of bots to humans. Weak.
Used COD to train for his shootings... right. And I use NBA 2K to train for basketball.
Well... respawn failed with titanfall. Looks worst almost.
normally I agree with all this negativity but this next COD is supposedly next-gen focused and not a port. Personally I'm willing to see what it's like before hating on it. Who knows...
Except there are 1,001 steam machines so no developer will target any one device to maximize performance. a $500 steam machine will not produce the fluidity of a maximized PS4 game.
Also... people like total packages. PS4 is that... you get most of the amazing 3rd party titles, indie games, and sony exclusives. You get a steam machine and instantly you miss out on most xbox exclusives and ALL sony exclusives.
Right!? And there's a next-gen focused COD coming in November that will make Titanfall look especially dated. And if they add mechs in it, well, that basically nullifies TF altogether.
Sorry but if you don't have an XB1 and you don't like the game... well... impossible, sir. You are a sony fanboy. Fact.

Because EA is the kind of company that would run a business decision by one of their many developers first. Sure. They actually ran it by me, too, just to get my thoughts. I told them to go for it so they did. I was wrong though.
love the art. Wish the game wasn't theatrical widescreen. I get that for film but with a game they have control over field of vision... so the reasoning of "we wanted the player to see more" is bull. I want the game to fill my screen.
@ThePope would you prefer he didn't like it having not seen any or very little gameplay? I've seen a LOT of gameplay and the more I see, the less interested I am. I was in love with the idea of this game early on, but the more I see of it, the more it almost feels like COD with some mechs. And bots... lots of bots. Lots of stupid, stupid bots.
F2P is a great way to get a TON of people to try your game out. Problem is that it's just that: "trying your game".
i guess we're all slaves of media consumption then being were all on a video game site, right?
so why'd we all buy next-gen systems?
what a coincidence! the game is too!
Titanfall articles are the new "AMAZING new screens from pCARS!"
Okay not EVERYONE who isn't stoked for this game is a sony fanboy.
