I just simply hated the combat in this game. To me at least it was very difficult and cumbersome. So I did not enjoy the game at all. Loved the atmosphere though, very awesome!!

I just bought the HD Collection and cant wait to play again, SH2 was one my favorite gaming memories.

Just started playing, it felt good to be back playing with Alan.
I have several games that I have purchased as digital downloads. Now mind you, the times I have bought these games are due to the fact they are cheaper than buying at a B&M store, or they are PSN or Xbox Arcade offered up games. I do believe that digital downloads is the future. Good read Midnight Special.
At first we will as game developers learn the new consoles. And then later on we will get more. Just look at this generations first games VS the games now.
Other than they are both games with RPG aspects. Beyond that I would have to say no.
I enjoy both of them for different reasons.
All it shows is that the hard core gamer is a minority in the gaming sense. That is why the Wii has done so well. The casual gamers outnumber hardcore gamers so that is why they are catered to more than the hardcore.
I'd love to see Midtown Madness 3 as a remake, or the 4th instlament in the series.
Isn't Turn 10 responsible for the next PGR game? Which would mean that it could be ok, as they already know their way around the 360.
Don't get me wrong here, I hope that the two new console's don't get released at the same time around Xmas 2012. Because if so, I will have to scale down my children's gifts in order to be able to purchase both consoles!!

I realized a few things playing this game, 1)that games were a lot harder than I are now, 2)that not having full three dimensional control over your character is not as good in games these days.
That said I am very happy to return to Silent Hill once again, and I am having fond memories of swearing and controller pounding from the original games.
