PS4 is definitely faster with the install then the X1, however the comparison I don't think can be called lightning quick on the PS4 vs the X1.
The only thing I like about digital purchases on the X1 is that I can use my phone to access Smart Glass and make a purchase from work at 10am. Then when I get home about 6:00pm it has been downloaded and installed and ready for me to play. I do not know if the PS4 has the same ability.
What I wish is that people would just not worry about MT's in 2015. Regardless of how many articles are written about the inherent evil of MT's they won't go away. They make money for the game developers, so they will never leave them be, just because someone wrote a scathing article about the evils of MT's. Get used to the fact they won't go away. Don't buy them, is a good way of getting rid of them, but that won't work either, there will always be someone who is ...
I would add Project Cars, since no other sim racers have been announced for 2015.

@silent, you had it at fairly compatible, Lego is king with kids, Megablocks is the inferior product. Just saying to give you the Uncle + bonus points!! My kid got Megablocks from his uncle last Xmas and he wasnt impressed!
My son is into to Lego also, I told him this took three and a half years to make. He felt he could do it in half of that time!!

This is just my opinion, and cannot be proven with facts. But I would sit there and say that console owners fall into two categories, casual and hardcore. And I strongly believe the ratio is 80% casual and 20% hardcore. Hardcore gamers love exclusives, and the 80% casual do care about exclusives but not who has more exclusives.
