GT5p's lighting makes it look much better. If Forza had its lighting, it would match GT5 I think. Forza enviorments look better though.

I wanted SHIFT, but I waited till the Forza demo. After playing it, I had no desire for SHIFT.

Looks great, but it didn't look "real". It still looks like a game, if you know what I mean.(I know it is a game). They shouldn't have teased us with the real car.
Crackdown is one of my favourite games of all time.
IMO, Shift c0ckpit is better. Forza 3 is sooooooo much better than 2. C0ckpit changed everything for me.
Just to add I haven't actually played shift. I just think the c0ckpit looks cool.
