MS does have the advantage in this arena, but they would have to tread carefully and handle it properly. I can see in a few years (and I would buy into it) being able to play XB1 style games on a phone that has the ability to bluetooth in an XB controller and AR glasses. It'll be pretty cool in a few years being able to sit on a bus or plane with a controller in your hand, glasses on and your phone running the whole show in your pocket.

Absolutely NOT!!! If anything it's a selling point. Games having a ton of players used to sound like a great idea, but it never really pans out. If the maps are Battlefield Big (without mechs) then yeah it can be great, but medium to small maps with more going on and mech warriors....more than 6 vs 6 sounds like a nightmare and unnecessary hurdle/burden. Keep it small so games can get set up and going quicker.

Both consoles are selling out....so...the bottom line is that all we can prove at this point is that PS4 is being made faster....everything else is speculation. Driveclub snd Destiny will probably be good, but the others look boring. Order and Deep Down were on my radar for a while, but the more I learned about them the more I realized they aren't that great. I didn't even finish the second infamous because it was boring.
This would be Sony's best bet to announce their VR headset before MS announces their AR headset. Both companies have been working on them, but MS has earlier patents and by all accounts looks to be building a much more innovative and advanced headset (akin to Kinect vs. PS Camera...even if you don't like Kinect, it shouldn't matter if you DO like the idea of VR/AR). Being as PS won't win the tech or innovative praises in this field, their best bet is to reveal/release first ...
Considering you can't tell the difference between native and upscalled 1080p...who really cares anyway, I'd rather they use that energy on other aspects to make the game look great....and they did...and it worked...and Ryse is STILL the best looking next gen game out there...cry all you want...doesn't change facts.

Sounds like this is fake news....My XB1 is on nearly all the time...even when I'm not playing a game I'm running Hulu Plus or something else...I've never seen it down, so this is only good news for XBL....IF it went down at all, they were able to fix it so fast, no one even noticed.
Only 9? Last of Us was good, but only deserves "most overrated game of the year"...it's like everyone that says it's the best game ever hasn't played any other games or something.
Side note...the gif they used for GTA5 is HILLARIOUS!!! There are AT LEAST 4 games on this list that I have no idea how anyone can argue that LoU was better and more original. Any arguments otherwise are just pure fanboyism.
