I'm sure it'd be possible, but it would probably rely on the team going back and doing a "definitive edition" that could be released as a HUGE patch, or just re-releasing the game.

This game looks gorgeous and the gameplay looks fun. Like the IGN editor and a few others however, I am worried about the choppy story and framerate issues...however, I'm sure they won't release the game till that gets fixed. However, honestly, the supernatural aspect of this game is where it starts to lose me...I kinda wish it just stayed human against human....we have enough games with aliens/monsters already. Looks promising, they should bring this to consoles. I'm sure if they approached MS or Nintendo they'd fund it...but perhaps they don't want to sell intellectual rights for the game...looks like it'd be perfect for consoles though.
Edit: I left Sony out only because they have less "need" to fund projects right now. If you look at the majority of exclusives they are pushing, they are all from established companies, and most are remakes of existing...

I think I changed my opinion about this game...I was gonna skip it with all the other great games coming out around the same time....but I think now I'm gonna get it...looks great.
It's only three months in, we all knew that PS4 was gonna take an early lead...to be honest I thought it would be worse. The $100 less price point is the main issue. So selling twice as fast as the 360 is selling poorly? Come on, fanboys just stop...stop...it's old and pathetic...stop being so negative. I know not all areas are the same, but in my area it's the exact opposite, it's hard to find XB1s and easy to find ps4s...in fact the costcos next to my house have NO XB1's yet pallets of PS4s...and all the gamestores next to me have few Xb1s at a time and 10-15 PS4s...this is clearly an opinion piece trying to be passed off as news.
EXACTLY!!! This BETA has been a blast...I played COD the other day because I felt "I had to" to get towards the 10th prestige (I always set goals for myself in games)...but when I jumped back the the beta...it put into sharp relief how awesome this game is.

Some fanboys are trying too hard. PS4 version does NOT look that much better than the XB1 version at all...brighter, yes, but anyone saying that it looks significantly better than the XB1 version and that the XB1 version looks like last gen is just lying to themselves and a fanboy...plain and simple...no excuses or other explanation...if you're on the fence...don't listen to these people. Watch the video, and if you can honestly tell yourself that the PS4 version is that much better...

It's official, the whole "resolution debate" is NOTHING, it's just fanboys wanting to fight over something and make themselves feel like picking sides was a good choice. Even the last gen versions look great, the MAJOR differences between last gen and current gen isn't even about the res, it's lighting and effects. The PS4 and XB1 version and 360/PS3 version are so similar that if they weren't labelled you couldn't tell. Although at the end for some reason...

IGN is usually super pro-Sony, so this sounds like a legit concern. Hopefully Ready at Dawn and Sony take note of this and take the time and money to make sure they release a quality, not just beautiful, product. It'd be a shame to waste all that time since 2010 when they started physically working on the game.
I don't want PS4 to be stopped, I want all consoles to succeed to allow for gamers to have the most possible options, and for this to drive developers and consoles to push the limits. ANY one company getting a stranglehold is bad for business in the long run, it breeds complacency. I see PS4 having a lead like it has (and even more here in a few days at the Japanese launch), but even by next Jan it's still early, however I think next Christmas things will even out.
