That would actually be sweet...maybe they should look into this...
Most ridiculous April Fools joke yet...
Please keep up with the news. AMD has even come out and said that it's been working with MS for at least 5 years on this....so IF ANYTHING, it'd be easier to ASSUME that AMD made mantle because of the work they saw going on with DX12. (not that I think that that's the case....just more plausible is all).
Obviously an April fools day joke. Devs aren't this childish about the systems, only fanboys are. Esp since in the end state, you can't ever really tell the difference between multiplats on the different systems and if anything they'd be missing out on using the better network if they wanted to do something like GTOnline.
Well, no it won't and shouldn't. XBL and PSN have very different goals for the subscription fees. PSN hasn't been upgraded in any fashion since it was on PS3, except now that it gives away "free" games each month. Whereas XBL received a rather large upgrade to the dedicated server/cloud compute side of the house. The fact that XBL gives away any free games at all should just be seen as icing on the cake.
PSN and XBL just have different directions is ...
Good things are in the pipeline ahead...future is looking bright for XB1. Can't wait for E3 and beyond.
Good to see that they did this....he had already started moving things in the right direction, and he knew that focusing on solidifying new and old games was key....but now that he oversees all things Xbox, this can only get better. Great choice to lead Xbox...excited for E3 more than I can ever remember, even more so than last year. I'm sure that we will hear more great things as time goes on.
It's due to a game drought, this explains why so many people are rushing to get it. This is the same reason KZ with an average score of 6.5/10 has sold 2 mil.
It seems like everyone agrees that the gameplay/mechanics is great, which is the most important part of course, but that past that the game is lacking a bit.
I'm not saying that it's a bad game by any means, but it's benefiting from an early console life where there aren't many games to chose from wor...
GOOD, it's about time. I'm glad the Dev set him straight, that was jacked up. Col had a legit personal reason, and it got twisted by someone's opinion, and relayed as "fact". CBOAT, Famous Mortimer, Thuway, Misterx, etc...all these guys are just fanboy morons that prove over and over how much I know more about the "inside" than they do (and I know nothing). A broken clock is right more than they are. They are good for spreading rumors, but nothing past that....
Nuts!
All three will PROBABLY be around for a while, but Nintendo looks to be due for the biggest change soon...maybe moving to just handheld devices. After that, I'd say that Sony is actually in the most trouble...true they are selling consoles like hotcakes, but overall the company is in huge financial trouble. Past that, in the area where gaming companies actually make money...selling games...MS is beating Sony by a rather large margin. This article appears to be wr...
Nice, things are starting to even out already, and the competition is getting stronger. I wasn't expecting this to close until next Christmas when people get their second consoles, and/or when Halo games start to drop. It's already getting competitive from week to week. XB1 sold only slightly less that PS4 in a week that saw infamous and MGS drop (true MGS is multiplat, but it's being strongly associated with PS4). What's also impressive is that in Software, XB1 is still s...
Nice, MS seems to be taking the time to do this right, and explore all options. Obviously it's too early to tell because they haven't released a final product, but if all the patents are put to good use and the rumors are all true, this will EASILY be my favorite AR/VR device of the big three.
I for one actually love this game, it's been the first time I've truly been excited about a game in a while. I find there are two kinds of hype for this game....positive hype, and the negative hate-filled hype (probably more aggressive than it needs to be). I agree with the positive hype, and agree that it doesn't live up to the negative hype. They game is pure fun, plain and simple...best MP maps I have every seen. Not everyone will like it, but no game will ever do that....n...
To each their own, but I've loved every moment of having my XB1. I've never even come close to regretting my purchase. Gamers everywhere on every console should be excited right now...there's so much cool $#!% going on this year and on the horizon.
This will give me a chance to FINALLY play some MGS, however, despite the fact that this will get approved at lightning speed....bet money it's fixed before this gets approved.
(also technically the title is wrong, it's not COMPLETELY inoperable...some are still able to play...it only affects some players...I am playing right now in fact).
I REALLY can't wait for this game, it's one of my most anticipated games...it looks amazing. Potential to be the best open-world 3rd person game PERIOD.
They can try to bring their worst habits...the issue is that the game doesn't reward that. Quickscoping is completely non-existant, and Camping (except in Hardpoint or Capture the Flag) is nearly pointless...it may get you a kill or two, but with the maps being so detailed and accessable, and the camper earning their titan much slower...there really isn't any advantage to doing so...unless you're just intimidated/new and scared to get out there and mix it up.
Well considering the "hype" these days is to "hate" this game for little to no reason...I'd say I agree...don't believe that mess.
I for one am of the opinion that I LOVE this game, it's a blast and hasn't even started to get boring yet...it's the first game I've played in a while that actually lived up to the original hype. It's just plain fun.
Nice, I'm loving all the news from MS lately, seems like they really have their $#!% together, and are on the right track. I'm really liking Phil Spencer as the lead, he seems to understand what gamers want....games. Whenever he has something to say, it's always great news, and/or showing that things are going in the right direction. I've never been so excited for an E3 before...even more than last year.
April is gonna be another drought month for gamers, luckily this will give me time to catch up on games I already have.
