I don't yet have a PS4, so I'd definitely prefer an upgraded PS4.5 when I decide to buy a "PS4" when we're already 3+ years into the "generation" rather than buying hardware from 3 years ago. The same goes for Xbox if I didn't already have one.
If people are ready to accept terrible performance and make excuses for From Software games, again and again, why would they even bother fixing their crappy engine?
I couldn't finish the first Dark Souls not because it was punishing and cheap but because of the horrible performance that made playing the game unbearable.

Cheaters are the reason I stopped playing multiplayer on PC a long time ago. So now I play online multiplayers games on console and single player games on PC.
It is 2016, if you have a PC that's not always online, that PC is most likely not capable to run games like Quantum Break.

Simple. It will only have games that are not natively available on Xbox One.
Steam is coming to Xbox One. The steam client will be a custom one and run on a VM. It will only show games that are "Xbox-Compatible" in the Steam Store on Xbox One. Those games will be installed with their graphics settings already set to perform based on the Xbox One hardware capabilities.
I don't think that's the case. Witcher 2 already had a Game on Demand version despite the physical release being on 2 discs. Hopefully they figure out multi-disc games that aren't available digitally soon.
That's also what I thought before I got mine. But after getting it I fell in love with this thing as soon as I took it out of the box. Worth every penny.
Because they don't have to wait, they could just go out and buy an Xbox One and they could play all the Halo games (minus Reach until it becomes BC).

For Sunset Overdrive not being on PS4 it's Sony's fault. They wanted to own the IP while MS let Insomniac keep it.

@Omegabalmung That looks bad but it's also misleading because it's possible this unit was botched. A friend of mine bought the special edition and the statue doesn't look like that, it actually looks really well made.

Actually it's normal to do better when you're playing on a smaller screen and it's one of the reasons even console "pros" play on computer monitors instead of 65" TVs.
Did you miss all the doom and gloom articles after Microsoft said their plan is to have more frequent hardware upgrade cycles during their February media event?
Now that we have a rumour saying Sony is doing the same exact thing, the tone has changed (though some still are afraid of change).
