I'm the farthest you could get from a ps3 fanboy, but I hate this idea, if my friends want to see what I've accomplished they look at my score, and sees for themselves.
Even when most gaming happened on the pc you had issues of games only being released on mac or for windows, and honestly the expansion of gaming going to more markets just make for a much better possibility for all gamers either pc or consul.
If it wasn't on ATT network I'd be more impressed.
We've been given the same recycled games since before the raise of the causal gamer. The only difference now is that it's more lucrative for companies to release games aimed at one group.
I also wonder if they did open it up what the potential of hacking attempts would be.

Yes very pathetic, even sadder is the fact that they also sued Sony, and Sony paid them to settle out of court.
And for those who remember this story I'm referring to was posted here on N4G.
I believe he's referring to the two men whom are suing Microsoft because they had the idea of online video gaming before xbox live.
@ Hicken
The reason that Odst, and Reach came out so quickly was that when Microsoft gave Bungie the option to buy its self back, Microsoft wanted them to create two more Halo type games for them. That's why they started working on both reach and odst once 3 was released. So being that 343 hasn't started work on 5 or 6 I'll put up all my possessions against having those released in rapid secession.
Well being that 343 has all staff on hand for halo 4 (their words from panel) and have been at work for 3 years on halo 4 it would seem really silly to assume that they would rush out a 5, and 6 out in rapid order.
I like a few of the armor abilities (jet pack, health shield, sprint), and a couple of equipment (bubble shield, trip-mine, energy drainer.)
I'd say that since 343 is now doing the work, instead of bungie, that calling halo 4 5 6 a second trilogy is perfectly acceptable.
edit
Also at e3 343 stated halo 4 would be out holidays 2010.
I'm sure bungie has no official knowledge of halo 4, but being that so many ex employees are now with 343 I have a feeling they may get some spoilers before release.
I remember playing ce, and saying to my friends and family that it would be great to have four player coop. You can still do a regular mp if you want, and from my understanding of from E3, the game play was going to be the same, with the added ability four player coop and xbl availability.
Halo CE on the pc had online multiplier.
you dont have to pay 50.00 a year for a year or more of x box live, if you look for deal's on amazon and other sites you can find a year or more then a year for 30.00 or less, and My roomate whom both have ps3 dont use them to game online, how ever we all game online with our 360's
Couldn't agree more.
I pulled it up on youtube and it worked just fine
The i pod was produced after the mp3 player was created as was itunes produce after other systems http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... and http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
also if it wasn't for Microsoft, stepping in and giving 150 million for non voting stock, apple would of dried up and gone away htt...
Have you ever heard of the economical term diminishing returns, http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... I personally have found that the paying the 100.00 mark was worth it because one the game content was just as long as halo s, brought in a new game mode, gave me a new wireless controller for 10.00 less, and also put new maps in to our inventories. Now as far as paying 100.00 for 2 years of x box live that's a joke you c...
I believe his math is wrong. He needs to consider the cost for electricity, TV, internet, console and any other online fee if applicable to see his true cost.
