You knew this was a bullsh!+ article when the title contradicts the first sentence. "Impressive" and "subtle" are two extremes in differences, just saying.
Now I loves me some Forza but I don't believe that it was just Forza that dethroned Gran Turismo, I believe that everyone needs to acknowledge what Project Cars has brought to the table also.
Side note about the comments on damage: If you've got your setting at cosmetic only, yes you can drive away from a 100+mph accident, but that's not a guarantee if you've got damage set to full :)
I agree. From someone who has played and loved all of the Forza and Gran Turismo games, Project Cars has become the racer that I enjoy the most these days.
These games are both running on the Xbox One S, the X is not used here to demonstrate the $250 difference.
I'm all for a real in-game map that shows you points of interest. Definitely an improvement from the first where you only got to glance at a rough map from orbit. The fast travel is a welcome addition also that should save valuable time. Less loading screens, more action.
Whatever, people. Do you know who the target audience is for these consoles (One X and PS4 Pro)?? Me. I want the upgraded graphics and I'll spend the money to get them. Microsoft and Sony will continue to make money off of the cheaper consoles, that's a given. They have provided upgrades for a smaller percentage of buyers that want this. I applaud both companies for giving consumers this option. And it is an option, you don't have to buy them if you don't want to so stop your ...
I'm with you guys on this one. Seems to me that this should be able to contain everything promised inside of 15 gigs. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see small addition (200-300mb) when it goes live next week.
Out of the many games shown at E3 this year, I must say that this game had me the most excited. I had briefly touched Last Light, but after seeing Exodus in action, it made me want to experience the first two games in full. I picked up Metro Redux within a couple of days and I'm truly enjoying these games.
I think everyone may be missing the bigger picture here. So, Bioware has been working on this for a while I would assume. Is this why Mass Effect Andromeda was a poor effort? Just my opinion.
4K tv? Check...PS4 Pro? Check...Xbox Scorpio is a must buy for me. I'm a graphics whore, lol.
I'm liking that Xbox Ultra suggestion (credit to b163o1)
Yes, the hypocrisy is insane. Here's a thought (and I'd give the same advice to Hollywood), entertain people, that's why you make games right? Keep your political opinions to yourselves.
How about this, Nintendo: give us a powerful console that's similar to the Sony and Microsoft consoles (so that third-party publishers can easily make games for it), a normal controller (that everyone can easily use), and a steady flow of first-party games. That's how you will win, make money, and bring in more players. I don't want a gimmicky controller, I want Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Destiny, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, etc...all on one console. Give me that and I'm sold. Th...
yep, this month sucks but can't complain about free games, I'll give them all a try
Exactly right. I wanted StarFox to be so great but it's a just a mess with the forced gamepad controls.
I know Nintendo is an innovator, but is there anyone here that would not sell their kidneys to have a new Nintendo console with PS4/Xbox One graphics power, that had great third-party support, and had a standard controller? Lets get real, people. That's the console that I want. I'm tired of the gimmicks.
I agree, 8-10 years for a console life cycle is just ridiculous at the rate that technology is advancing. Also, people forget that the first Xbox only lived for 4 years before the 360 took over. I'll hold off on the One S but the "Scorpio" is a definite buy for me.
Nintendo just needs to make a "normal" console and controller for it to be successful, oh and put in some current transistors (cpu/gpu) so it would at least be on par with the ps4 or xbox one. That would be a day one purchase for me.
Gonna be a FULL weekend. Double/double xp in Black Ops 3, Iron Banner in Destiny, and of course the Doom beta starts tonight too...So glad that I don't have a life.
I agree. Season pass owner here and over 1600 hours in Destiny 1. Loved it even with its many flaws. Destiny 2 feels like they just shelved the first game and turned over development of the sequel to a bunch of preschoolers who didn't know what they were doing. I've lost my attachment to the Destiny universe and I really don't think that Bungie can bring me back.
