Damn it, Activision! Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is one of my favorite series of all time. All of the ones developed by NeverSoft were great, but after that you turned them into whoring out Guitar Hero games, then you forced them to work on Call of Duty, and finally you shut down your greatest development team!
All the while, you have the buffoons at Robomodo making garbage games, killing your franchise. This series is better off dead now since you sure as hell don't car...
Metal Gear Solid V.
Open World, not a limited game by any means.
Decent graphics (not the best).
1080p PS4, 900p Xbox One.
Sixty Frames Per Second on both.
One of the best playing games of the generation and the framerate plays a part in that.
As a huge Assassin's Creed fan for the first five games in the series (Desmond's story), I have to agree. The series has been going downhill since after III for me. I know people love Blackflag, and I did enjoy it, but it wasn't a good Assassin's Creed game.
Starting with IV they really felt lost on what to do with this series, the yearly dev cycle had caught up to them, the stories were all pointless, filled with useless characters (Bishop, who is she, what...
There are many flaws with this show, but my personal biggest problem with this show is that it airs before the year is even completed. How can we judge the year of games for 2017, when 2017 is still running?! It actually makes no sense.
Because of this, current popular games released just before the cut-off date get a significant boost due to current hype surrounding them as well as being almost impossible for the voters to complete in time to send in votes.
Games ...
I haven't pre-ordered from GameStop in so long, really displeased to hear this. But Secret of Mana is one of my favorite games of all time, so I have no choice. Piss on you Square-Enix for doing this, also piss on you for not releasing the Collector's Edition outside of Japan.
If this is another slapdash sloppy port running at 30 FPS like the Ezio trilogy, I'll be disappointed, but I won't be surprised. They seriously need to port the PC version running at 60 FPS, but knowing Ubisoft...
It was available on PC March 10th, 2015.
Exactly what I've been saying since the beginning. Switch is going to cause limitations for a long-term game like an MMO. Just build exclusive games for the Switch. S-E already has an MMO coming in DQX port, right? Don't gimp 14 for the sake of a quick buck.
I'm 34 years old and now I'm considered a "dinosaur"? Get out of here with that B.S.! Cosmetics are one thing, but once your microtransactions affect the game's progression, you are officially full of S***!
I beat the game, and it's really lackluster from combat, to freerunning (more restrictive than previous games!), to story.
Its just a big open world with boring, repetitive checklist things to do. Its a snooze.
Played it for the first time two years go, many aspects of the game are great, but I didn't care for Wiimote and nunchuck controls. If it had GameCube controller support, I would have liked it a lot more.
I'm halfway through the game, and it has some lacking aspects, like classic Sonic controls / physics are terrible (but manageable). The level visuals are great, but the level design is basic, even more basic than Genesis games.
If they had fixed classic Sonic controls / physics, and made levels equal to Sonic Adventure 1 / 2, then the game would have been received much more highly. Overall though, the game is nowhere near a disaster as many people are claiming it to be....
Graphics a generation ahead. Game design, game mechanics a generation behind.
It affects the game design. Games are all grindy filler crap these days.
Shadow of War is a perfect example, "over 100 hours of content" but its more like 100 hours of boring filler content. I've played the game for over 30 hours, and its been a boring slog, all designed to make it take longer unnecessarily so to push you towards micros.
You are the biggest problem in gaming, the ignorant gamer. You don't value intelligent or thoughtfull...
xboxenthusiast.com posting this damage control trash makes sense, seeing as how Microsoft has been putting egregious microtransactions in nearly all their games since 2013. :|
I want this remake, and the limited edition that Japan is getting to be brought here in the States.
Soft Engine? More like Hard Engine!
.......
I'll see myself out.
The bigger scam is this article from GamerHEROES, there's nothing heroic about lies and slander. Now I know to avoid GamerHeroes for good.
She worked on Assassin's Creed (left Ubisoft after Unity), not Heavenly Sword.
