Microsoft had a lot of snazzy trailers, basically copying Sony's 2016/2017 style for the most part, sure. However the Xbox employees who got on stage really annoyed me with how frequently they kept saying "gamers" and "gaming." They said it so many times that it simply came across as disingenuous. Not to mention that nearly all of their first party games look incredibly uninteresting.

Every Marvel in-house movie, starting with Ironman 1 has been below average. I kept giving them chance after chance, but each script is more boring than the last. I eventually quit halfway through the second Avengers movie and never came back. If they do the same thing with their games, they'll be completely skippable.

@Abriael, Microsoft has done nothing right (outside of backwards compatibility which I like) since the reveal of the Xbox One back in 2013. This is nothing more than Nadella fluffing up some PR talk to make Xbox look good even though its been a sinking ship for years.
Why is almost everyone complaining about graphics? Graphics don't make a game better, outside of framerate, and this game will very likely run at 60 FPS, so that shouldn't be an issue. SEGA hired D3T studio to port this game, and if D3T starts changing the graphics, there could be problems, and the fans will end up angry.

I have it for both Xbox 360 and PC. The PC version is stunning at 1080p 60 FPS, and even most notebook / tablet PCs can easily run this game at 60 FPS locked. Watch 60 FPS videos of this game on YouTube to see how smooth it is on PC.
The marketing push will start when RockStar Games is damn good and ready to start it. There's no reason for them to spend money for marketing a game that's still half a year away from launch.

While I'm glad that Insomniac is making the next SpiderMan game, I'd like to say that the first Activision SpiderMan, developed by NeverSoft for PS1, N64, Dreamcast, is an excellent game. The problem is that Activision got greedy (as they always do), and kept rushing out more games for more money as fast as possible. This prevented developers time to think games through, and forced them to come up with gimmicky stories or mechanics.

Xbox One and PS4 share a lot of the same library. Might be better to buy a Switch instead since it has plenty of unique games. If you already have PS4, Switch, and a PC, you're unable to keep up with the endless amount of great games that've released this generation. In that case, may just want to save up your money for PS5.
