If you dislike the idea of the game, you won't like it if you end up having it. I went into the Division with a skeptical view because of Destiny, and it actually managed to win me over. I disliked Destiny severely for what it was and offered, but the Division gave what I as a gamer like to experience. It has a story that serves its purpose and is in no way "over or maxed out."
I finished the core, so End Game wise, you basically need to have someone to team up ...
I don't see the big deal here.
But everything has to be argued over so whatever.
Link is the "hero of time." He's always been depicted as a male through the time line, whatever version of its reincarnation. He might be the "Link" between us and the game, but the character in itself isn't customizable like commander Shepard. These articles are annoying and beyond pointless.
I get it. Equality, but this is a set in stone IP that has chosen its creative directions long ago.
Could you imagine how boring it would be...
Now this is how you do a trailer. I couldn't look away. I'm a fan of good storytelling/writing, and my god... There's a gem here. I can feel it.
Hm. The Dark Zone will be interesting as changes are made. I like it how it is now. Not entirely looking forward to everyone wanting to shoot me in the face because the penalty is miniscule. It's almost satisfying how people are working together. I came across a group of seven people who easily let me roll with them. We swept a large area of the Dark Zone and then extracted our equipment. Another player tried to go rogue and we punished him.
Good times.
That's a rough way to go... Best regards to his family, loved ones and friends.
Agreed. From what's been shown so far, the scope in itself justifies the cost. How fun will it be? How much variety is in the game's experience? We will find out closer to the release date. Everyone who's in an uproar right now is just on a high from complaining about other games.
People have forgotten that not every developer is evil and not every price is a slap to the face. I trust an Indie who charges a high amount over a tripleA game that has a season pass al...
This is a really good read.
I think the lack of trolls is a good thing. The intense atmosphere comes from the fact you don't know if the people you just came across are good at heart, or out to get you. Everyone has the thought "if I do it now, I can get away with it." It's awesome, and also dangerous since at any given time someone can pop up and take you out. Going in a group is a wise move but even so, groups can gather more attention.
Be it you're all about the law, or a die ha...
I agree with points 1-3. Additionally, though not necessarily, perhaps some form of way to traverse the city that's faster than running? Not in the dark zone, but the PVE area would be nice.
Yes, I can fast travel, but I generally only like to do that when I'm rushing to go somewhere in the real world. If I have time, I like to enjoy the environment, just, not as slow. Not a big deal however, and there's other things the Division can improve on first.
The Division isn't multiplayer only. Yes you have to be online, but I'm able to play solo just fine. I enjoy teaming up for the main missions, but you're stretching with your complaint. If you were to say the game isn't as fun while solo, then you'd have a point to stand upon, but you didn't/couldn't get a little more specific because you simply wish to complain.
Yeah I've gained the habit now of carefully walking up to those in need. I've had a few run away from me and I end up grumbling about it.
This sounds amazing.
Interesting review/read. I'm loving the game experience but the writer is correct in that the cities inhabitants are basically a background and nothing more. I don't feel sympathy for the NPC's, they are sort of as irrelevant as the buildings. They create a wonderful atmosphere but I don't view them as people in need, but rather someone who might give me a cool jacket or hat.
Would the game be better if the NPC's actually played a larger role? Absolutely. ...
I think as long as the community voices the complaint properly, then I don't see any reason why they can't adjust it again. It's all about testing things out. Usually the extremes are to see how the community handles it, and if done properly, it eventually reaches a balanced medium.
So many games do this. I try not to focus on the changes until it's actually written in stone (won't change again).
Well why not both? If Uncharted 4 is the last Uncharted, then that gives them the room for a new IP. I think if they treat the Last of Us 2 properly, then that + a new IP would be a lovely thing. We should be asking ourselves, what will the new IP be?
Not in my future. I won't support the trend. What others do however isn't in my control. I'll enjoy the games that come out in a full package. Be it when it initially releases, or, a year after when all the other pieces have come together.
Dlc was one thing.
Preorder content was one thing.
Season passes are another thing.
But having the base game itself come in pieces?
No. I'm sorry, but no. That's just beyond ridic...
3/10 ?
Whatever. I'm loving the game.
That's what counts :)
I'll be picking up any game they release (well you know what I mean). They are a great company so I hope their values and dedication to deliver an amazing experience remains solid throughout the upcoming years.
I don't get why this guy makes it into article or news worthy pieces.
I really don't get it.
