Actually Sony is able to get those numbers. They could be using a method which indicates if a ps3 was sold once it was scanned at a cashier's post that directly links to their own database. And this would eventually yield the said numbers through that link
It seems you still don't understand anything. If they provided false information then they would suffer severe consequences from the government for releasing false information to the public (ala Enron or WorldCom...hopefully u know what those are, because if not then...). And furthermore, using that image works the first time like 2 weeks ago, so using it now is worthless. Thus, everything you try to assert is invalid.

to you it may be horrible but to everyone else in japan and most of the asian territories, this game is very good. So, it can't be horrible like you said. Plus, aspects that you may deem horrible may actually be like by other people.

Ratchet and Clank has only been on the chart for 1 week and although sales appear to be lower than the first week for something like Ace Combat 6, it is basically at a normal pace of 100k, so how is that a flop? Secondly, you are basing your "AAA" data on 1 cumulative website which ranks it at a 8.9, while another one ranks it at a 9. Don't ignore that fact. Thirdly, its not Sony thats dooms, its their gaming division (if it was, which it is not obviously).
'if' you were the first to buy it when it was worth it...then you would have been the first owner of a ps3, but you are not. Other people have bought it and obviously they must have surmised that it was not a 'waste of money'. And obviously the reasons for why one system is inferior or superior to the other can be debated heavily because one side may say that is a plus while the other may say that it is useless.
And yet it is the most popular sport in the world. I don't think the two go together now do they?

Totally agree with you. Every time reviews or news come out for the ps3/xbox360, people scrutinize it to no end. And when those news or reviews turn out to be sub-par, bs gets thrown around the article leading it to another war between which system can crap better. Hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel...just hopefully.
I'm pretty sure if no one cared about this then there wouldn't be a large amount of praise coming from most of the comments in this article. And judging by how many people are excited about this game, I'm pretty sure many people do care. So, that being said, I highly doubt the fighting genre is dying.
The art style is definitely something new for a fighting game. If they did this and kept the 2D gameplay which has been the basis for all Street Fighter games (except EX), then I will be one happy gamer.

I'm surprised as well, I thought this game would receive something higher than an 8 based on how other reviewers have praised it.
This is definitely an interesting concept. Something like Echochrome, but with more interactivity since you have to physically move the cube around. I wonder how popular something like this can get.
