cool, SW: Force Unleashed 2 got announced
I tend to disagree about the commodity sense. From my perspective, it's a competitive advantage where a company (or product in this case) has an absolute advantage over the competition. In other words, this would give Sony one more feature that the 360 does not have. But, as you remove those features, both consoles become substitutable for one another (from a gamer's perspective, we are disregarding Blu-Ray for this argument). As a result, I firmly believe that it was a mistake to remove the ...
Errr....If you are talking about a medium to low setting equivalent on consoles then yes (based on the tech demo presentation, but other than that, I am not too optimistic). Otherwise, it would be too much for consoles to handle everything at full settings.
You know, the way Isaac is depicted reminds me of the original DOOM box cover. Isaac has a very similar pose to the Doom Guy, except depicted from a different angle.
But nonetheless, this game will be awesome.
I should have sold all my rares when I had a chance a few years ago. I even had some 1st editions...those would have net a pretty penny to people who were willing to pay $20+ per rare card. But regardless, it was a really fun game that was more complicated than the Pokemon TCG and less intense compared to Magic: The Gathering.
It is still a guilty pleasure to duel with the cards I have once in a while. >_>
Indeed, I am more in tune with Friedman's philosophy (couldn't remember if he was the one, so I didn't add him in my description, lol). However, I do believe that there should be an overseeing web of regulations to ensure something like '08 Financial Meltdown does not occur again. I honestly could not believe corporate greed could get this bad and that credit agencies would simply let these exotic derivatives go.
And speaking about sustainability, apparently Wal-Mart is one of ...
You have a good reason in terms of city planning, but I will provide you my views of the matter. Firstly, this is the nature of competition, which results in the smaller businesses being driven away due to the larger one. But here in lies a truth. The reason why some small businesses are being driven out is because they are directly trying to compete with Wal-Mart rather than finding their own niche or specialty to differentiate themselves from a brick and mortar store such as Wal-Mart. If Wa...
No need to be sorry. Everything you said is correct and I agree that the hate against Wal-Mart is totally baseless. There is a whole degree of economics that can further support your argument, but that is another story. All in all, price wars may be bad for the company, but for the consumers it is shopping heaven.

Well you also have to think on the flip side. Why do they have dlc? Nowadays, the cost of publishing and creating a game is in the tens of millions. Depending on the situation, a game may or may not sell 1 million copies, which is typically the break even point for a decent profit (The number of copies needed to be sold can also increase or decrease depending on the cost). So, by charging dlc they can effectively make direct profit without the publishing and other charges involved in the trad...
You say one version of the game is awful, yet you say nothing about why it is awful to support your conclusion. You're opinion and argument fails.
**On topic. The game is pretty easy to pick up. I remember when I first started playing it and it wasn't too hard to string together some basic kicks or punches. Mastering the game is definitely another story. To perform streaming combos and ensuring that your opponent doesn't have a breather is difficult. But otherwise, the game is r...
Oh really? They downplay Ps3 exclusives? Is that why they reviewed Metal Gear Solid 4 and gave it a 9.9/10? How about the fact that they also reviewed Killzone 2 and gave it a 9.2/10.
So, with that said, I don't see any issues with this website. They obviously appreciate gaming for what it is (something you obviously don't see). It is only a title, and the author is trying to convey his opinion on the subject matter. I would like to see you write a cohesive and detailed preview l...
This game is very impressive based on its quality and atmosphere. It's hard to believe that Splash Damage was able to produce such a game from the Id Tech 4/Doom 3 Engine (modified of course). I look forward to seeing more info about this game in 2010.
Good to hear. I think the marketing campaign that Sony did for this game definitely had a positive impact.
Are you talking about an article concerning the 360 version of Facebook? Because if so, IGN does have an article about it. It says so in this article.
Thanks, very good to know that. I previously played SupCom 1 on a Dell XPS laptop, so that is most likely why I suffered major slowdowns. Now that I have a capable PC (Core 2 Q9550 and an EAH4850), I won't have to worry about that too much.
Wow...Supreme Commander 2 essentially fixed all the gripes I had with the first one. That was also one impressive demo video. Now I can only hope that my PC can take the toll of thousands of simultaneous blasts going off every second, heh.
I still care about Digimon :(
Digimon ftw!!!
If your comment was serious, here is my response for how Gamespot reviews:
Uncharted 2-9.5
Demon's Souls-9.5
inFamous-9.0
Little Big Planet-9.0
Killzone 2-9.0
Metal Gear Solid 4-10.0
Resistance 2-9.0
If you were sarcastic, then I obviously suck at picking that up.
The box to the right of "CH 710" says "PS3.Xbox360"
