@xtreampro
It's 100MPH... not light speed... The "sense of speed" is perfectly captured in Gran Turismo. It's supposed to simulate real driving, not a Hollywood car chase.
Wow. That was impressive. However, all this talk about better graphics, 16 player races and "Hollywood style immersion" has me suspecting that they are going to cut the frame rate in half...
Hopefully that's not the case. Racing simulators at 60FPS is a MUST. Don't take the Shift 2 route!
Hahahaha amazing. I love how this game seems to feature cutscenes to compliment every character's storyline.
It released in the UK. Still waiting for a US release date...
Although the facial capture in L.A. Noire is absolutely out of this world, I'm going to have to agree with Cage. They need to film the face and body separately. It makes them seem detached.
However, saying that they have better tech are fightin' words. :P
Let's hope he delivers because Heavy Rain really needed work in that department.
Low meta scores, high Meta scores. It doesn't really matter you know. Motorstorm Apocalypse is absolutely brilliant and another exclusive game to add to our library.
You laugh about these exclusive games not meeting *our* expectations? Who the fuck are you to judge what we should or should not like? I find it pathetic how you people still manage to talk when there hasn't been a single 360 exclusive to be released this year.
Bahahahaha!
Ooohh very interested. I wanted them to do a tech analysis on this graphically amazing game. :)
Edit: oh wait it's just an interview. Very interesting either way. :)
The game runs at 1280x1080p. That should justify the YouTube resolution.
Great review. This is pretty much how I feel about the game. It's great fun and nowhere near as frustrating as the previous games. The story is pretty silly but I enjoyed it. The graphics are definitely some of the best I have seen in a racing game. The incredible lighting, MLAA, crazy amount of particles, and mind blowing natural disasters while still keeping a rock solid frame rate and such a high resolution is quite an achievement. There are times where the game is almost photorealisti...
Although the game is pretty awesome, I'm going to have to agree. The AI is absolutely RETARDED. I couldn't believe what I saw with my own eyes.
I was sneaking around a small island where there is a lighthouse. There is a heavily guarded private military base with towers all around. I was trying to find a way up one of those towers to take out the enemy that was patrolling the area. The moment I walked up to the tower, cloaked, the moron literally fell out of the towe...
wtf Does advertising have to do with review scores?
Shift 2 runs at 30FPS. It BETTER have superior graphics to GT5.
I was really looking forward to this game. Unfortunately, after reading GTPlanet's impressions, it apparently handles the same way as Shift 1 which wasn't really fun at all. I'll still give it a shot though.
Crysis 2 is linear as all hell as well. It took a major step back from the first Crysis and using the excuse that everything is in real time doesn't change the fact that the game is a blurry, sub HD mess with a god awful frame rate that drops to as low as 15FPS. On consoles at least... lol
They showed him in the trailer.
I believe Head On was not developed by David Jaffe. It didn't have Jaffe's magic touch. :P
I thought it was pretty awesome though. A True sequel to Twisted Metal 2. Hell... remake Twisted Metal 2 in HD, add online and I'll buy it in a heart beat.
I'm surprised you even know that there have been previous installments on previous generation consoles.
Younger gamers who's first console is the Xbox 360 usually don't know about stuff like that.
Because, you know, you can't use a PS3 controller on the PC.
Ah, you never mentioned campaign. The co op in Uncharted 2 was still tons of fun. But having it for the single player campaign just wouldn't work IMO.
Bring Seattle back.
