GT5 has been getting massive support from a small team ever since release. IMO it's one of the greatest driving simulators to be released this generation. The attention to detail and PD's ambition to push the hardware with all of its features is unmatched.

The only reason why the 360 doesn't require mandatory installs is simply because not all 360s have an HDD. If every 360 did have one, you can bet your ass that developers would take advantage of that and require the user to install their game (unless Microsoft didn't allow them to). John Carmack even stated that he wished every 360 had an HDD to take advantage of such a feature.

I was amazed at what a huge difference the lighting alone can do for this game. The physics were also a great step up from Forza 3. Just wish Microsoft didn't force proprietary accessories for their hardware. The 360 controller just doesn't match my Logitech G27 wheel.
