Is this the official Microsoft E3 presentation or is this just a pre-E3 press event for Microsoft? I expected more.
According to the article the screenshot was taken from the latest version of the game. It actually goes on to say that it was taken on Saturday.
My idea of a perfect controller. Take the sixaxis. Add rumble. Swap the D-pad and left analogue stick. Make the d-pad one button (like the 360, but not as big). Make the grips a bit longer/bigger. Give the grips a rubber coating . Make the triggers more like actual triggers. And finally, since I'm a fps fan, replace the right analogue stick with a trackball. Since this whole thing is ridiculous, I have a ridiculous solution. Since the church the house of God, all Sony has to do is say that they got on their knees and asked God for permission. Then, when it goes to court, all they have to do is get God to take the stand.
This only became an issue after the church made it an issue. How many gamers actually knew they were playing in Manchester Cathedral?
Don't get me wrong, I like OpenGL as much as anyone else, but I'm not sure what those shots have to do with OpenGL 2.1. Most of the images are from the Mudbox gallery: http://www.mudbox3d.com/gal... and the rest are from the ZBrush gallery. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they are renders and not realtime at all. I know some of them were created before OpenGL 2.1 even existed.

I'm currently living in Taiwan, so I asked my girlfriend what she makes of the story. Unfortunately, she is not very tech savvy, so she is also not sure to which format it refers to.

I agree that the UK price is quite high, but spare a thought for the people in South Africa. The PS3 retails for R6300 ($872 or £445) and even the Xbox360, which only arrived there recently, retails for R3700 ($512). South Africa is also not considered to be an expensive country.
Everyone is talking about the great XBox 360 line-up for the rest of 2007, and yes, it is a great line-up. But doesn't the PS3 also have a great line-up for the rest of 2007? Lair, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Haze, Uncharted, Socom, Eye of Judgement. Those are all PS3 exclusives and as far as I know, all of them are set for a 2007 release date.
Why is the Xbox 360 line-up so great, but the PS3 line-up isn't? I'm confused....
