Not to be a dic, but I counted about 6 seconds of actual "in-game" play. The rest APPEARS to be quick cut scenes. I could be wrong. I will prob rent it....

I know times are tough but just buy the damn unit from Best Buy and spend the extra 49.99 on the 2 year replacement plan. No matter what model you get, if you game a few hours a day and use it to watch DVDs, it IS going to go T U on you within 2 years. No boxs, no labels, no refurbs, no WAITING.

I totaly agree. I played it on my PS3 when it first came out. Being an Achievement whore, I have been waiting to finish all the goodies from the last 3 months so I can go get it for my XBOX so it's no skin off my nose but it does suck for the Sony loyalists who really enjoyed F3 and are now burnt.

I actualy like RE5. Did the coop with a buddy, treated it like a blow through with some good action. I am not going to say it's a bad game just because it's not like RE1 and 2. Actually, yes. I have never purchased a car with the expectation that it would last forever. I always want to know how long and what is covered in the warranty. That is usually the deciding factor.

it's a BETA. Pretty sure there will be upgrades. Is it boring as hell right now? Yes, and that will change over time.
What gets me is the compairison to LIVE. I might be the minority but I only use LIVE to play online games. I have no idea what those bobblehead avatars are doing or saying because I could care less. I go on LIVE for the "party" feature, matchmaking and the core features that provide a (for the most part) smooth online GAMING experience.
This is shaping up to be one hell of an exclusive. My ONLY concern is the AI. Please, oh please, don't have us fight enemies that stand there and take slugs to the chest or do some predetermined hokey pokey dance to avoid them.
