Takes about 4-5 hours, easy plat. Not a super bad game, either.
My Uncharted PS3 was traded in for the MGS4/KZ2 bundle and I didnt put the saves on a jump drive! It should go off trophies! DAMNIT!
Not some spray n pray garbage. Real tactics, real thinking. Those that quit after they die a couple times can stick to the games that taylor to them for all I care.
I prefer this old school type of playing and with the online factored in, it makes it the perfect "next-gen" game.

I just did my first Black Phantom and man when I entered this chap's world my heart was pounding and I was sweatin! That never happens in online anymore!
Anyway, it was on 1-1 and as soon as I spawned I saw him and he turned and started to rush me. I somersalted past him and lost all abilty to think! I couldn't even remember what to do to switch weapons LMAO!

Just got to 20 hours and I cannot stop but my hands hurt so bad. Just did my Black Phantom for the first time and WON! Man, My heart was beating and this dude is chasing me all over then I rounded a corner and NPC ambushed him and as he sat there swinging I walked up behind him and death stabbed him from behind. That is the most innovative online I have experienced. I'm hooked. Dare I say GOTY?
Not even worth the $9.99 rental fee. Graphics are below sub-par. Camera angle still a nightmare. Such a shame, too. This game could have been a stellar hit. I think the devs misunderstood this was for a next-gen game and used the PS1 as a source for coding.
I really enjoyed the first one, too. Love having the minions at my disposal and it was a blast listening and watching them do their thing. Pity, I tell ya. Real shame.

I am really getting sick of the linear aspects of FPS. They need to make an open world game like Resistance that doesn't limit you to a 10 foot wide path to follow.
Just my opinion. Can you imagine Resistance in a Fallout 3 setting? Side quests and all? Seeing a mothership landing across the horizon and actually being able to run up to it or stand back and watch the action? Your choice changing the outcome?
Not being a jerk at all but all my friends have their own hosues and their own setup. Co-op is the way to do it for me.
No one comes over to my house to "play". I'm an old fart so I guess I am showing my age.
Back to Demon Souls....
With so many other great games out there this is NOT worth the 60 bucks. Plus, every time I run it makes me sick and that never happens in games.
I know I am polluting numerous threads with DS praise, but damit, it is just that good. The decisions to make as to what to upgrade, the trial and error, the art design, music, enemies and overall ambience of the game is top notch.
Kudos to the devs for this breath of fresh air. My only gripe is how am I going to be able to put it down next Tuesday? Then it's only a short time until Ratchet and Clank. Then, Christ, MW2...

You are dead on with the shield comment. I don't think I even let it down unless I am using an item. It was one of the first things I boosted up when upgrading. It has saved me countless times from those stupid, hidden crossbow a-holes!
Price cut, increased advertising, killer exclusives...Sony is on the upswing and we are balls deep in a recession. GoW 3 will sell a lot as will Uncharted 2. Toss in Ratchet and Clank and GT and, well, it's gonna be a very merry xmas for PS3 owners.
