I'm in the same boat as you. I found out today in this article that it came out last week; I'm a massive PS fan too, bad news indeed.
Comparing it to Psn has just exposed how much of a fanboy you are. It's a ripoff, stop being blinded by fanboyism.
To me it's always been a ripoff, however; the introduction of the redesigned PS+ has brought that issue to light and exposed how extortionate it truly is.

No way. After withstanding a painstakingly dull drag stage, I welcomed EE's death, laughed and loved seeing the ***** die. I hate her. Even though I've played MGS3 5 times, I've only played MGS2 once - I hate it. I guess it's the combination of stupid, annoying bosses and the whole event with EE. I hate EE. B****. I'm glad she died.
Play every MGS in order then play MGS4 and see the ending. Heartbreaking. Last time I cried that much was with Heavy Rain.
Also, AC Embers was sad.
I didn't say this before, but Ethnic Cleanser and Rapelay made me cry like a baby.
I'm extremely disappointed. How will it feel like a survival game if Lara can just hide in a corner for 5 minutes and be ready for another beating? This absolutely sucks. It's clear the developers have copied Uncharted in this aspect (as well as many more) of the game.
I cannot express how infuriating this is.
