I was thinking more along the lines of playing as one of the many, many taliban soldiers that don't want to fight, but are threatened & conscripted by the very few mentallists that have that "ALLAH AKBAR! ICANBLOWUPWESTERNER! THROWSTONESATRAPEDWIVES! SHARIAHHH, INSHALLAH! ALLAH AKBAR!" attitude.
Although it's probably easier to believe that the Afghans that have been forced to swap farming tools for rifles want to destroy all westerners isn't it?

I suppose it's only natural to start nit-picking when there's little fault with the hardware.
So many problems before it's even released. Microsoft, no matter how they spin it, are clearly going to have a tough time with this device.

This series never did get the recognition it deserves.
And no show time from Sony for it at E3 was very disappointing, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'd rather have seen Motorstorm 3 info instead of the golf game.
