I've considered that option, but I've had a second 60gb phat going back and forth from Sony that I keep at my girlfriends house, as well as 2 from GAME (in the UK) that have been repaired by Sony and sold from the shop, they've both had problems after a year or two and given up.
So i'm looking for something that I can be confident is reliable enough for me to have decent gaming sessions without the worry.
"New" Valve are built on micro-transactions and masses of cheap sales.
They understand that selling 50 $5 items is better in the long run than selling one for $250. It inspires loyalty and continued custom in a much, much larger audience, they aren't daft.
"far too many announcement at E3 for Sony to risk getting lost in the shuffle"
What is this I don't even...
The only announcement that a rival (Microsoft, as Nintendo have already played their hand) could make is the next Xbox.. And that would, at best and most likely, be on par with a PS4 announcement. It would realistically be Nintendo being "lost in the shuffle" if the next xbox/playstation were announced at E3.
They're already £59.99 on the playstation store... (Crysis 3 as an example) Which is ridiculous.
So I can see them pushing to £69.99 for PS4 games sadly. Which is even more disgraceful.
There's nothing wrong with the XMB...
I don't need to see my face or any of my friends faces in massive tiles on my TV.
Wish they'd kept the simplicity and the "to-the-point" XMB :(
No son, it's 11PM GMT. As originally stated.
EA get a lot of flack, despite them being the backbone of the gaming industry.
No matter how uncomfortable it is to admit it, the gaming industry needs EA.
The Daily Mail Online, (the WORLDS most visited online newspaper site) has run two stories on it already.
It isn't just the gaming media that know about this...
Lost all respect for this guy after playing Resistance 2...
The first was a glorious introduction to the current generation and then it was let down by its successors, especially Resistance 2.
.
Rico? ... D:
Why you do this?
I'll read this once I finish the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Sega buying Relic is the best possible purchase, without a doubt.
The Warhammer label being taken over by Creative Assembly (Total War) will be glorious.
I'm more disappointed about the Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium that they were working on being lost :<
Reminds me of the new Daleks....
Lol.. I've got 3 copies... Would never have thought that it'd worth so much.

Lucky you.
Lost my faithful launch model 60gb 2 days ago :( looking at getting a slim, they're going cheaper now that the super-slim is here...
Other than the size I don't see any benefits to the super-slim. I'd rather have the fancy disc slot if I'm paying a lot of money.
It will not be $1000.

That's not to say it will be cheap either..
