If someone were to go from playing ANY last gen system to playing a ps3 the graphics would look much better, HOWEVER the graphics DO NOT look better when put up next to the 360, so what shikwan is saying is that it is all relative. you fanboys are really too quick to bite peoples heads off.

i dont know what kind of crappy connection you have buy if the iso was packed into a 7z or RAR file it would prob compress by %50 or so so figure most raw games will be from 3-10gb movies about 20-30gb, so packed that would be 1.5-5gb for games and 10-15gb for movies, now this is just ball parking, i know that some wont pack as well and others will pack better.. yada yada, on my avg cable connection i can download about 1gb an hour, that would mean i could get just about any game or movie in ...
i got one a while back, its great. you get king king a media remote and the quality is top notch. also its nice and quiet when watching movies. you cant beat it for $200 considering the remote is $30 by itself and Kong is $40.

i belive i read somewhere that Microsoft isnt backing HD-DVD because they want it to win, they are backing it because they want BOTH formats to fail, they want all digital distibution, so if they back HD-DVD it will be enough to make the media war a draw, and thus killing off both formats.
but as a side note if you check out the AV Forums (the people that are most intrested in HD stuff and are the early adopters of it and seem to know the most about it) HD-DVD is getting way more ...

the data transfer speed of the hd-dvd drive is more than good enough to handle 1080p, it doesnt matter that HDMI can do more... so what. second the 360 is HDCP compliant so when M$ releases a HDMI cable for the xbox it will be as capable as any other HDMI 1.1 HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player.

see you are wrong though, both the 360 and ps3 are new tech, the wii is old tech (it is a game cube) with higher clock speeds and a nice new controller added on.

in games like this (that use lots of CGI) the play is very liner so swaping a disk really is not much of a problem you play about 15 hours then you swap a disk then you play 15 hours and swap a disk, not too hard if you ask me.
