i hate announcements for announcements... cool game, lame announcement.
i agree, its about time canada did something worth while.
i just wonder how all the ps3 buyers that paid $600 feel, i mean not even a year into it and people are already spending $100 less than you did. thats gotta sting a little. but its good for everyone else.
and how about those dumb fools that paid $1000+ the first weeks only to have it readily available shortly after... ahh silly people that lack foresight.
doesnt europe understand sony needs them to fund the price drops elseware in to world. why do you think they charge you over $100 more to begin with... silly europe.
maybe M$ is talking paid-in-full preorders and gamestop is talking thier $5 down preorders... im betting like like 40% dont ever come back for those though... just my guess. i got mine preordered at gamestop, however i only have $5 down and will probably transfer that $5 to mass effect and get halo somewhere else that offers a better deal.
actually up 100% then down 40% isn't a net gain of 60%... see look at it like this: say you have 1 and 1 is = to your original 100% so going up 100% would = 2. correct? yes, ok now go down 40% of 2 and what do you get? yes, thats right you get 1.2 and yes, that would make an overall gain of 20% hmm funny that huh... yes we can all play numbers games but some of us are idiots and don't know simple math. shame.
that aside you are right to an extent they are still slightly up... h...
i know that this is just a diff colored ds lite, im just saying that it seems every time i finally give in a buy one of nintendos systems the launch a new version like a month later.
what? an anal-ist thinks a price drop will help sales... MY GOD, MY EYES ARE OPENED!
if it doesn't have "brain age" plastered on the ds itself i'll buy one. my girlfriend has one and i have been waiting to get one for myself and i like how this one looks... i just HATE buying nintendo things cuz i know as soon as i do they are gonna release a smaller better hardware revision... nintendo why do you torture me so?
so... M$... WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU DROPPED THE CASH TO BUY BIZARRE CREATIONS YET? sigh... i know that doesnt have anything to do with this really, but i would HATE to see EA kill them...
no one is FORCED to buy the core, why don't people understand that. it was an active choice on their part (only exception i can think of is when the 360 launched and all that was left were cores)
@Kyur4ThePain: no it's not the same thing, core purchasers KNEW that they would need storage... i mean unless you want to try to play oblivion and its 100+ hours of gameplay without shutting your 360 off... the core was meant as a stepping stone for people with less cash on hand. its l...
i agree to an extent, i do think that the price of the hdd should go down. i think they should get rid of the 64mb memory card or bundle it with the core then put the 512mb card at like $34.99 and put the 20gb hdd at about $69.99.
they could have gotten the premium. it was their choice to get the core. the core was sold as a starting point. IT WAS MEANT TO BE UPGRADED. it even said it on the box, something like "upgrade at your own pace bla bla" so yeah, in a way, i blame the consumer. they shouldn't have bought the core if they didn't want to upgrade it in stages.
stop trolling. first you dont NEED all that crap. id say all you would need is a memory card which could be had for like $25 on amazon.com so with the price drop on the core you could still be playing one of the best looking RPG's ever for little more than $365 (system, memory card, and game)
there are rumors that the nyko one is worse for the 360 than nothing at all.
liar, M$ doesn't manufacture computers. troll.
they updates almost always require a reboot. ive had a 360 since launch (not the same one mind you... sigh) and as far as i can remember all the dashboard updates rebooted my 360.
wow, your very first comment and its SPAM. keep up the good work. douchebag.
well even then, i still don't see the big deal... i mean anyone who got a core KNEW they were buying the "cheap" version. they got it knowing it was missing stuff the premium/elite had. they got it knowing they couldn't save games unless they got a memory card/hdd. it wasn't like they got it home and when "oh my god there is no hdd! i was scammed! woe is me!"
that said, the core CAN play any game but you might have to buy a HDD in order to do so... big deal....
a ps3 version wouldnt realy be the right kinda of announcement, it will be something related to what is already here (pc/360) so it will prob be a demo or multiplayer info.
