Its true, the exact same thing happened with 360. My friend preordered the day before me and got it on release day, I had to wait a week.

I think it will be nintendo's last console, Asda (biggest supermarket in UK) no longer sells it (instore). That is not a good sign, especially such a short time after release.
If it sold well, people would stock it and devs would make games.
I prefer PC exclusives too, but its his opinion and he likes console exclusives more.
Im not saying all gamers are rich, if moneys tight maybe you should be buying something other than the latest consoles. I work hard for my money and choose not waste it partying all the time, I buy gadgets instead.
I can't buy everything, I will not be getting both consoles on release. If you time purchases well there are always bargains to be had.
