Resistance was an unknown game to many people and I did not know much about it; only that it was made by Insomniac. Resistance wasn't even hyped and it sold multi-millions. Imagine Resistance 2 with a lot of hype and an even bigger install base of ps3s...I would say it is going to be a close race with gears. Can't get enough of both games online.
Sony's stepping up their game even more introducing in-game messaging, xmb, and the video store. With also great games like mgs4 comin, i don't see what's gonig to stop them.
