I think Sony was trying to go for a more sophisticated, futuristic view for the PS3 commercials compared to the quirky and funny PS2 ones. Good thing they learned that their funny PS2 commercials were working so why change it.
BS things about MW2 Online:
- Camping
- OMA + tubes + thumper
- Commando Pro
- Sh!tty servers, that stupid host migration
- Nuke boosters
- etc.
It was word of mouth for my school; in Canada. One person played it, said ow awesome and how different the game is, and it spread.
I find it funny how the exclusives Sony lost (GTA & FF): one turned to be one of the most overhyped games eve, and the other, not so spectacular compared to the other FF games in the series. We'll see about Rising.
Game looks amazing. Though it looks more like a Bourne game rather than a stealth like the previous games, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Snorlax. Nuff Said. This beast can learn moves from Psychic to Ice Punch to Surf to some next move. Has dangerously high HP and attack.
Maybe I should rephrase that; games that I find interesting. I hate any game with Mario in the title. I want games like No More Heroes, and I'm still waiting for a great lightsaber game that I doubt will ever come. Hopefully Lucas Arts can think of one on the Move.
Until the Wii gets some good games like the PS3 and 360, they shouldn't talk. Haven't touched the Wii in months. I don't even remember the last Wii game that was amazing?

The Wii is a piece of junk. After Super Smash Bros, I barely played the Wii, I'm not a big fan of Nintendo just unleashing a new Mario, Zelda, Metroid every year, come on Nintendo think of something new, like a 3D Pokemon game or something. Though games like No More Heroes are welcoming, the Wii is a thing of the past, no one talks about it anymore.
Sigh I shouldn't have let my friend borrow my GOW games, the only GOW I can play right now is the demo D:, March 16th can't come soon enough.
@Jeff - Again I don't think it's people being mad that it didn't get a 10, but other games that are clearly less spectacular such as MW2 or Halo 3 getting easy 10's like there's no tomorrow. The fact is if it's a PS3 exclusive, it has to have the best graphics, perfect story, perfect gameplay, perfect online, AND innovate to merit a 10. Don't you remember MW2 getting 10's with reviewers ignoring anything about innovation. As much as I love MW2, it has a great list of flaws and BS.
After seeing the swords part, can we PLEASE have LucasArts make the lightsaber game I wanted since forever. I haven't touched the WIi in months. I actually unplugged it in case it becomes a fire hazard, save a tiny bit of electricity.
im just sick that ps3 exclusives have to INNOVATE and does some next stuff to get top marks while 360 exclusives like Halo 3 or multiplatforms like MW2 gets an easy pass. This is where it shows bias. I don't know how anybody can deny this.
