My son never said he wanted a wiiU either, but i got him one... introduced him to a genre of gaming he never knew (platformers) and he loves DKC and Mario now and is a huge fan of Mario Kart. It's not that he's going to stop playing Madden, NBA2k or COD... he has the ps4 for that... but it's about variety, and Nintendo offers something you can't get anywhere else. Call it Niche or whatever, i think if more gamers gave it a chance they'd enjoy the hobby more by being Divers...
DOOMZ, sony's Play Now has nothing to do with PS4 titles, only past catalog titles... What MS wanted to do was with their XB1. Pretty big difference, in my opinion play now gives a nice way to play past games you missed out on, for me i'll continue to buy disc if i can, but i think it's great for the vita on the go!
pretty vanilla graphics and gameplay... I'd rather have a Blazing star or Gate of Thunder HD remix.

meh, i've had this on MAME for YEARS... M$ try again, i need more of a reason to plunk down my hard earned money on your console than that booboo KI rehash, a nearly 20 year old game i can play for free or any of your watered down in comparison to ps4/PC multiplats or that barely next gen looking Racer Forza. I'd consider an XBONE for $199 "just ta have" but that'd be about it.
give it time folks, bitching is good too... because they actually listen most of the time. PS3 wasn't what it is today on day 1 either, make your voice heard... they're listening!

the disparity will occur once joe six pack starts buying into it, and the exclusive games show up. Remember a lot of the average joe gamers casuals etc they may have only just recently bought a ps360 so to them, having the latest and greatest isn't a priority. I mod wii's as a side gig and you'd be surprised how many people just couldn't care less about ps4/xb1 they just wanna game and are cheap lol

i preordered the day it was announced, and to you guys yet to get one... trust me it's worth it, this machine is an insane value and amazing! i'm so much more pumped on this gen than last, and believe me... i was pumped last gen! i think all the RROD's burned me out though by time ps3 dropped i was feeling beat up by my xbox so i was gun shy, but in defense of my 60gb ps3 it still works and looks like new, i'm on my 5th 360 :(
