and yea i'm gonna wait till after all those games get released... and for a price drop. also, the 40 gb ps3 doesn't have full backwards compatibility?!? man i wanna wait for that to get fixed too
any of you have a ps3? is it any good to get now? or should i wait for another price drop and some more games to come out. i definitely wanna get the FFs and MGS4... and i'm hoping Tales of Vesperia will be for ps3.
i have a wii right now and it has some tight games that i think can hold me over for a while... but i don't see the wii's life lasting too long. all of it's killer titles of this year i beat... so the only games that i know of that i'm waiting for are smash bros ...
give the wiimote a chance! the fact that it doesn't have dual analog definitely sucks, but it's so much easier to use - your hands can be on either side of u when u play, which is real comfortable, as opposed to having to hold the controller with both hands, keeping your hands close together.
also, i don't think much waggle will be used, or even be necessary for the ToSKoR

ToS was the sickest RPG i've ever played. i really hope the us release is 2008. i buy systems just to play tales games

i think i remember reading somewhere that when ff4 was first made, the final product only had about 20% of what was actually written for the story. a lot of things had to be cut out to meet time constraints, and this ff4 remake will have a larger story due to the addition of parts of the storyline that were cut out.
i'm pretty sure i read that somewhere... kinda like how they added more backstory to the ff3 remake.
the lighting in SMG is much better than in sunshine. also, the polygon count is higher in SMG too - you can tell by mario's nose, hat, and other features being much rounder in SMG than in sunshine.

Halo 3 is about bursts of action after every 20 steps you take from your last burst of action... designed to keep your palms sweaty and your adrenaline pumping consistently as you play. Metroid Prime Corruption is more of an exploration game, with it's moments of action, but a lot of puzzle solving as well. I agree with you on most of it but I do feel like the Wii can compete with the 360 and the PS3. Zelda won game of the year last year in many publications, while the 360 was already out for a year and PS3's launch flagship Resistance: Fall of Man couldn't even touch GOTY. It's funny too because the other game last year that won a lot of GOTY awards was God of War 2, which as we know isn't next gen. For me anyway, I got a Wii cause I'm in college and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a game system that will be cheaper when I graduate. Plus, I don't have an HDTV, and the virtual console games, resident evil 4, metroid, and zelda have been keeping me going. I also play a crapload of DotA and CS so i don't need much else right now

that guy's lying. i remember, i forgot either in metroid prime or metroid prime 2, i think it's the first time you see the metroids in that game, and the tanks explode and they start floating around, one of the scans talks about "Metroid Prime Hunters DS" and "Metroid Prime Hunters GS." seriously, the only reason why the halo series is big is because it streamlined online gameplay on consoles to the masses... which i'm not saying isn't a big deal, but at the same time, pc shooters like the half-life 2 series blows halo away in everything - graphics, story, online play (that's a matter of opinion, but counter-strike ftw), gameplay (introduced the gravity gun, had some cool puzzles and great action, the gameplay's just rediculous).
