I think Reggie is the only arrogant one around Nintendo. I'm a huge Nintendo fan and every time I hear Reggie it feels like he always come off arrogant.
For some strange reason, I think advertising the install size of a game is some sort of gimmick. I guess it's easier for people to go by the notion "bigger is always better."

It looks like an early patent/prototype/placeholder for the Wii U controller. It's probably just an old patent that surfaced.
Alright it depends. If you have a game that's incredibly story heavy and has that as its focus, like the rpg genre, then it's a problem.
If you have a game that's a game in the purest sense where the story mode is just a supplement, for a recent example Splatoon, then it's a completely different design for a video game.

I could give this game a pass on graphics because it's clear and looks fun.
But graphics do matter when things aren't properly rendered, blurry textures, pixel crawl, etc.

Rip-off arguments aside, it just looks like an awful game. Is there no vertical axis for aiming, only lateral? That's so cheap. It's purely effortless. And how the you actually claim territory... it's just looks so cringeworthy.

Dude, people DO NOT mean a cruddy ignorable little bug here and there. (Some are actually cool, like the swingset in GTA IV) It's the game breaking stuff that really bothers people. Constant crashing, framerate drops so low that it looks like a series of still frames, corrupted save files, loading glitches (unable to proceed to next area, games stop loading the area), etc.
And just some things to make a game look like it has a little polish.

I'm just going to say that point of the article is to say that Nintendo doesn't follow the same Parity Clause that Microsoft uses for their indies.
Nintendo said that indies will benefit more from simultaneous releases than exclusivity. Isn't that a good thing?
