I've seen the game in motion and it doesn't look THAT sharp and vivid. ESPECIALLY those explosions.

The first Motorstorm looks better than this one so far. I'm not just hating on the game but overall, they have to do more than put "40% complete" on top of the screen and actually polish the physics and visuals.
The scope of the environments is on the money along with the lightning but that overall coating of effects is missing which is making it look flat.
