With Nintendo announcing they will not hold a press conference at E3 I think regardless of what MS does or does not show? The real showdown will be at E3. ALL eyes will be focused on those two (Sony & Microsoft) like never before since it's only them 2 going into details of how they plan on approaching and carrying out the next generation game plan.

I just hope MS keeps the door open for used and rental games. I will get one regardless just for Forza 5 but I am big on...

What Gran Turismo needs to do to "compete" next gen. Really?
The series as a whole has sold nearly 70 million copies.
GT5 has sold over 9 million copies. I would say the only thing GT needs to compete against is itself.

I do like a few of the suggestion listed in this article. I just disagree with the title but I know you have to add a little sensationalism to get attention in this industry. That in itself is sad but I understand why it's needed...

Good review.
I couldn't agree more.
A lot of outlets are giving this game a 7 rating and it just boggles my mind. This is a very solid fighting game and has improved visuals over MK9. The only thing lacking for me is a end battle move. Some type of finisher / super move with dramatic flare. Other than that one small gripe this game is a blast to play and the graphics are excellent.

As long as Forza 5 supports triple panels. I'm good to go. I would buy the console just for that 1 game. I hope Horizon makes the jump to triple panels as well next gen.

So for me I don't even need Halo, Gears or Fable. Forza is enough. I'm a anything on wheels addict.

Nothing / pure speculation since MS has OFFICIALLY released no details other than it will be revealed 5/21/13

Wow somebody actually gets it. The only thing missing from Injustice is a finishing / super move at the end of the match. Other than that it's a great fighting game. It's a lot of fun and has excellent graphics. I don't get all of these 7 scores from most reviewers. It's as if they are dumping on it because it's not MK. No kidding it's not Mortal Kombat. It's not suppose to be.

Neatherealm did a great job with this game. I would give it a solid 9 o...

The only thing I am interested in May 21st is MS to confirm whether or not they will support used and rental games.

I sure hope we are being Rick Rolled and MS isn't this stupid. New only will be the kiss of death for them. That can't be this stupid, can they?

E3 can't get here soon enough. If these rumors turn out to be true? I prefer options and having resale value in my purchases. That and "it's been a blast MS but I feel we are headed in different directions." CIAO

I myself rent more than I purchase new. I don't see a need to purchase when certain genres I will blow through in a few days and move on to the next title.

I myself wont support any console that wont support used games. I want what I purchase to have resale value. Sooner or later most games lose their allure.

Sony wont go this route next generation. They are sticking with physical media.

Agreed.
I enjoyed them all but Uncharted 2 blew me away.

I'm a 360 gamer and have been saying all along always-on isn't a deal breaker for me. The only rumor I was/am concerned about is the ability to play used and rental games. As long as MS supports them. I'm golden.

I also have said I'm waiting for E3. I don't buy into rumors, only facts. E3 can't get here soon enough so we will ALL know fact from fiction. WOW what this place will turn into if all these (always-on and wont support used or rentals) rumors ...

If the industry moves towards no rentals or used games? I will move away from gaming. I'm not hurting for cash but I am rather fond of my hard earned money and I'm very selective of games I purchase new. They have to have longevity and really appeal to me. Genre's like racing, shooters (online), fighting games. Other genre's like action platform or adventure games I usually rent or purchase used. Even most RPGs I rent.

If they move away from used and rentals t...

The reviews seem mixed. I don't understand why. It's a really solid game and 10x better than the atrocity that was MK vs DC.

I have only spent a couple hours with the game but so far I feel it is going to fall in the 8.5 to 9 range for me. The only thing I wish it had was a definitive finishing move / super move. Something that is brutal but shows your opponent what's up. ;)

I'd personally rather not have always on. It wont deter me from getting a "next box" but it must support used games and rentals. If it supports only new games? CIAO. It's been a lot of fun over the years but I feel we have grown apart.

@Gaming101

Thanks for sharing while not having a clue.

On topic:
I thought this was an excellent reboot. This is the most versatile Tomb Raider ever. I especially liked the finishing moves. They were excellent. When I would down the opposition I would switch weapons just to kill them a specific way.

My only gripe, but it's my problem and not the developers fault, was the action 3rd person camera gave me vertigo at times. Especial...

@sikbeta
" the guy who created one of the most successful Third Party Games"

Cliffy B. "helped" with the "development" of Gears of War. He didn't create it. Even if he did that is no reason to act as if his opinion must be respected. I love the Gears series but IMHO Cliffy suffers from what I call LMS. Kind of like Napoleon did.

Personally I have been gaming when Cliffy B was still in diapers. I don't want an alwa...

I have been a XBL member since day 1. Between me and my sons with now have 3 XBL accounts. I never pay full MSRP. I usually start looking for deals a few months before our subscription is up. With that said, I would prefer not to have to pay anything for it. So if always-on does in fact become a reality? That would make the XBL fee (sale price or full MSRP) even harder to swallow.

I am still holding out hope that always on will be one of the biggest mud in the face to those ...

delboy I still play Forza 4 and GT5. I also have a couple people on my friends list that were still playing Warhawk until the new one was released. What again were you getting at?

When a hardcore fan of a specific genre likes a game they will stick with it until a sequel or better game in that genre is released. I am headed to my gaming room right now to play some GT5.

The only way this happens is if MS and Sony can't meet the demand.

The demand for the next offerings from MS and Sony will be through the roof as opposed to the Wii U. I could walk into most stores in my area and pick up a Wii U the day it released. I doubt the same will ring true with the PS4 and Next Box but I already have my camping gear ready to go.

Me too. I might actually pick up the collectors edition and I have never done that before with any game. The only thing missing from this game is a finishing move. The super moves are cool but even when you finish a match with them they are the same as if you used them mid match.

It's an excellent first attempt from Neatherealm.
