Console games requires a massive dev budget that anything less than a super star developer can never attempt, and with the high bust ratio the risk and reward is roughly the same as PC games. Plus some genres are by their nature, PC bound. I can't imagine myself playing Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3 on my 360 anytime soon. For one because the console version of those games will be crap, two I don't like the idea of paying $10 for four Starcraft 2 maps when the PC version will be downloading hundred...

There is no way in hell the 360 can handle this game. NO WAY. If you play the beta then you'll know what I'm talking about, like all MMO Conan is a huge RAM hog, you need to 2 gig just to keep your client from choking in some PvP instances. We're not just talking about Crysis PC vs console Crysis here, Crysis is not a dynamic enviroment like MMOs. Just wait till you go to town and see 30-50 characters running around on your screen.

$35 for a new release is just stupid. Only the hardcore movie buffs will pony up that much money for a Bluray tittle, and even then, only for the good movies. Unless they drop the price down to $15-20 Bluray will never penetrate the mass market.

There is absolutely no point in preordering anything else. I didn't even bothered to preorder Metal Gear 4, beta or no beta. Its pointless.
MMO on the hand, there is actually a benefit to preordering. Usually they give you a free mount or some noob armor. There is actually a benefit to shelling out your money early. Basically unless the devs are going to hand out some extra content, there's no reason to preorder any game at all.

This PS3 vs 360 comparison is 400% stupid. The best version of GTA4 is the PC version. It'll have tons of complete free content that'll make the 360's DLC looks totally pathetic and can be played in true 1080p 4x AA, provided your PC is manly enough to handle it.
So if you really want the best GTA4 experience possible, buy it for the PC.
This PS3 vs 360 fued is like two guys fighting over a fat chick while there's a supermodel sitting right next to her.
Then buy it for the console now. One of the thing that makes PC gaming great is the price. When GTA 4 hit the PC it will do so at a lower price than the console, you could even get a digital copy. If you wait for about two weeks after release you might even be able to grab it for $35 on sale.

As it stand this game is not console friendly.
If you're in the Conan beta then you'll know what I'm talking about. There is no way in hell the 360 can handle this game without blowing up or going RROD. The beta client alone is a 12 gig download...compressed. Now assuming 360 players are willing to install a huge game on their HDD there's no way they'll be able to PvP, do sieges, and all the MMO stuff that the PC players can. There's simply not not enough memory, of which like a typical MMO, Conan is a HUGE hog.

Forget about the graphics. The PC's version will be king in content and multiplayer making the 360's DLC nothing more than a drop in the pond. With all the new mods, missions, guns, vehicals and NPCs...all completely FREE, that the PC version will pump out, you'll never be able finish this endless game. Its like an off line MMO.

I can't believe the constrols can ever be considered as an issue for the PC. Use the keyboard/mouse for FPS, or use the 360's pad for console games like GTA4. Thats it.

If you're a football fan, this franchise actually improved this year. The new player models are tigh, better AI, multiple animations for better control, controlable endzone celebrations, and online leagues. Pretty good really. This is a must buy for me.
The Dark Sector demo truely was crap. Frankly I have no idea whhy this game got any buzz at all.
