That's already a pretty gorgeous list. Throw in a price drop/slim announcement and MS will be firing on more cylinders than they have in years.
This is my BOOMSTICK!
And other references, of which there will hopefully be many. Great casting as always. As a Brit who frequently visits the Westminster area I'll be interested to see how closely the map matches reality - give or take a few decades.
Barring any surprise announcements from Sony and Ninty, I think you're right.
It's a real stretch, but I'd like to see them try. Not being sarcastic, I really want to see all the exhibitors try to absolutely smash it this year!
Yup, reckon MS are gonna hit it hard. However, Sony will have enough choice reveals to soak up a lot of the hype at the end of the day. Hopefully a big NMS segment. And more GOW.
TBH I'm pretty excited for Nintendo. They've got to show us Star Fox now!
It's especially annoying seeing as they had eight months to work on this. They could have delivered a meaningful campaign and added loads of stuff, but no, they just gave things silly names instead.
Am I enjoying House Of Wolves? Yes. Am I making the most of it? Yes. Am I annoyed that I got suckered into buying a season pass for £39.99, which could have easily gone towards any number of games that would have been much more fun? You bet.
Hmm. Thing is, I actually love Destiny and do recommend getting back into it. But at the same time, I got suckered into buying the season pass and can't get over the ridiculous DLC price vs the amount of content it actually delivers. Maybe the GOTY is the way to go, though I don't know if one will ever be viable.
@MSBAUSTX: oh yeah. Turns out I completely misread that, whoops.
"Also with this game being over 10 years old it truly deserves a Remaster unlike some Remasters coming out just a year or so after the originals were released."
Yeah think you hit the nail on the head. This is an opportunity to play a game that's hard to get hold of, but beautifully remade rather than lazily ported.
It's a lot less than that!
@Concertoine: Ah, no, I mean that it's interesting to see such a low launch week price. Normally Mario games would be selling at the premium rate with only tiny discounts. Think it's ridiculously good value - I should have said "hold its price" rather than "hold its value" to make things clearer!
I'd be loathe to trust everything you read on Kamiya's Twitter feed. Love the guy and everything he tweets, but on the other hand he's often sarcastic or even borderline trolling when it comes to announcements.
Still, here's hoping.
Agreed. It can only help Capcom's developers to appreciate and understand the appeal of the older games too.
It's interesting to see that new Nintendo IP doesn't hold its value anywhere near as well as a legacy franchise. Not complaining, mind. Really looking forward to this one.
This looks outrageously fake. The box, as much as anything.
It ought to be as simple as saying "trailer" or "gameplay footage" and sticking a line in a video description. Otherwise, you're right, business is business. There's lots in the article agreeing with what you wrote, btw.
I don't even know where to start. Think about what you write on the internet. Words mean stuff.
Nice. Shame The Witcher 3 is getting the flack it does, but by the same token, it's easy to understand why many gamers have a hair trigger after so many deceptive marketing campaigns conning them into pre-orders over the last few years.
Hopefully there'll be a big summer sale to make that go even further!
Can't wait. Loved the original Untold.
