@shin
Gtfo troll.
1. The reason I asked why is clearly because I WANT one.
2. Deals are meant to increase demand. Usually, when there's no deal, it's a sign that the thing is selling well.

Seriously this "other OS" argument is pathetic. No one cared about it before it was taken away, now it's just being used as a token issue because it's all they have against Sony.
Why no deals on PSP Go? :(
Well if they'd done this for the PSP Go I'd have bought one a long time ago now.
Sure, building a strong argument is great--and facts are essential--but an intro that lets us know what the article is about never hurt anyone. Actually, more people would probably have read the whole thing if they'd known what it was about. That's what an intro is for.
I like LEDs that are *useful*. When I'm playing in the dark, it's nice to have LED backlights. It's annoying to have superfluous overly-bright ones in my peripheral vision though. And Razer does have a habit of sticking LEDs where they aren't needed (my mouse's scroll-wheel is burning a bright blue spot in my retina as I'm writing this).
Edit: At least I have the option to turn it off--which I just did.
Took a damn while for the article to make a POINT. The conclusion is pretty good, and not too unrealistic, but I think it's too pessimistic.
The article makes a good point that Japan has stagnated at PS2-level development (PS3 games from Japan are, for the most part, really not on par with those developed in the rest of the world) and the NGP could be negatively affected by this because of its power. But I disagree. The article also mentions that Japan is obsessed with po...
Well Sony had to throw the PSP a few bones! Without the games you mention the PSP's library would have been much weaker. Besides, I'm pretty sure they're going to be NGP-compatible, so that'll increase the launch-library for that portable.
I never got a PSP myself, but I'm definitely getting a NGP, so I'm glad the games you mentioned are on PSP. (Provided they'll actually be NPG compatible, of course!)
Wtf?? I don't see WHERE the author gets his opinions from. Actually, from my point of view, he got BOTH wrong.
1. "People who detested the Wii and had abandoned Nintendo, went on and on about how Nintendo was finally becoming ‘Hardcore’ again, and taking care of their needs." I fall in the category mentioned, but I NEVER shared that view on the 3DS.
2. "After months and months of the 3DS being this amazing and respect worthy device that all...
My thoughts exactly. I don't care who they cast for Elena, the movie's already ruined.
YES! The weapon wheel makes me happy. No more compromising between what you want and what you should pick up because "you might need it" further on... You know what I mean! Btw, we'll have to save up some serious LAARKs and Sniper rounds for that last guy in the trailer!
Believe me, I know how you feel about the exclusive going multiplat thing. But I'm not too worried. Even though Demon's Souls's graphics aren't often mentioned, they were definitely not shabby! But at the same time they weren't absolutely necessary to the experience.
Actually, Demon's Souls turned out to be greater than the sum of its parts, and that's really why I'm not worried. Because I'm sure that, even though they're developing for...
@Snake (have to be specific because there are 3 comments ahead of me that AREN'T REPLIES):
lol, but I don't think so since it's on 360 too. They're going to praise it as the game of the century.
@Klado:
Pre-order price means nothing. It's a stand-in until they know the final one. They always say when you pre-order that the price is subject to change until release.
Beat the game 50 times...

To be fair, I won't be buying a PSP even at that price. I'm going to wait for NGP, and like you said I'll be using that 130$ to buy Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4! I was just pointing out that anyone who bought this wouldn't be stuck with it, and that it is indeed a very good deal considering the huge number of great games that have been released for the console over the years.
As VenGence said, not everyone's an early adopter, and anyone who picks up a PSP now wi...
I don't see how anyone can think we're "light on details" at this point. We know all its functions (dual analog, touch-screen, touch-pad, motion sensors, GPS, dual cameras, etc.), we know a HUGE list of developers working on titles already, and we have a ballpark release frame (holidays, maybe a bit later).
Basically all we're missing are exact specs, price, and release date. But I really don't need those at the moment. Release date: end of year, is ...
lol, "stuck"? Why?? Just because someone spends 130$ on this thing now doesn't mean they can't get the NGP when it comes out! It just means they'll enjoy their PSP for probably an entire year until we wait for the NGP.
I'm 98% sure they are.
Actually, I'm more sure that the PSP is region free than I am of how the stupid bubbles work on this site. I know I get bub'd often, yet I'm stuck at 5. Usually I don't care, but sometimes I could really use more on some articles.
