Resistance 2 is my most anticipated game of 2008. After seeing Ratchet and Clank in action, I can't wait to see what R2 is going to look like.

The word "addiction" gets thrown around so much these days that the word has lost all meaning. Everything in the world that is enjoyable is now called "addictive". A so-called addiction to video games, or the internet, or exercise, or any of these other fake addictions are nowhere near, not even close, to an addiction to a real drug like heroin, or nicotine. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You PS3 owners aren't missing anything. Mass Effect is boring, frustrating, and akward. It has millions of technical issues and the graphics are terrible. Be glad that this abomination won't be tainting your PS3. PS3s are temples, and you shouldn't put trash in a temple.
It won't be a Killzone 2 trailer, because that game won't get released until 2009. Same for FFXIII, GOW 3, and possibly Haze. (Haze will probably never be released.) The announcement will probably be something about Home, or movie rentals on PS3.

The first mass effect didn't sell like hot cakes, and mass effect 2 will sell even less than the original, because a lot of people were tricked into thinking that mass effect would have a lot of good 3rd person shooter action along with the boring conversation trees, but it didn't, the combat sections were worthless. I expect mass effect 2 to sell far less than the original.
If they want to blow me away then they have a hell of a lot of work to do and changes to make. They need to completely redesign the inventory system. Get rid of the vehicle sections. Drastically upgrade the Atari 2600 graphics. Get rid of that black ring around the screen. Make the conversation trees actually matter. The 360 HAD the best games in 2006 and 2007. PS3 will, without a doubt, have the best games in 2008. You had a good run 360, but what exclusives do you have for us this year? Gears 2 and thats it. I'm afraid one game isn't going to cut it for an entire year.
12 hours is way too short for an RPG, and side quests always suck, in every game ever made. I really hope the 360 has more than Fable 2 up it's sleeve, otherwise Gears 2 will have to single-handedly support the 360 for all of 2008.
I'm a playstation fan, and this game could be very fun, but lets face it: this game will be ugly. This is game is gonna have COD4 textures, and that isn't pretty.
