This happened when gamming went main stream the ps4 and ps2 and Xbox 360 and Wii brought in a bunch of new gamers who like easy.
You cant die you have regenerating health, 12 hour games it goes on and on.
You have arrows that point were you go, maps that are more precise you don't have to read grinding were you can fall off (Sunset Overdrive). It has not ruined gamming but changed it forever.

I'm glad I bought Diablo on my X1 best choice of gaming I made. Better everything and it has an end game ,and multiplayer on and off line.
Skyrim the problem with this game was it was to easy to dragons and there were to many. Most fantasy worlds dragons are an end boss and also almost impossible to kill. To just go around killing dragons felt off.
I think the real problem is this might be the first mmo on consoles for this new generation. I know there have been others but this is a massively marketed game that is being played by people who have never played or even thought about a mmo before.
I did not buy it did not like beta. This game is not a 6 and the people I know love the game.
Techland allows you to play with random people very easily and talk. if you are going to make an mmo fps you have to allow people to meet and play together and talk these hoops you have to go through to talk is a stupid game design.
I said this during the beta the game has no soul.
Everything else is fine most Fps's have bland stories but the game dose not have that spark most people get attached to. Not being able to communicate with any one in the game is its number one flaw. This ruins the game because you cannot easily make new friends.

until all digital sales are counted we are only seeing one part of the sale. ps4 could be selling a lot more than its even being reported because of their digital sales not being counted.

yes every one I know has ea. access which means they have madden 25 so this has to be taken into account. Also most people I know have gone all digital this generation. I haven't bought a disk yet and will probably not buy one this entire generation.
