I love the the recent marketing sony has done, the nostalgia is brilliant, like the ps1, ps2 and ps3 videos leading up to the reveal of the PS4.
I absolutely loved mafia 2! From the moment I was walking down the alley in the snow with the music in the back ground and random NPC's having a chat I knew it was going to be an amazing game and it really was, it really had an atmosphere about it that most games never manage to get.
I would like them to make it possible to save whenever you want though, going for random adventures and not being able to save until the next checkpoint was a bit naff.
...
Hell yeah the trucks look awesome! So do the low riders in the new multiplayer trailer! Id love another midnight club but this certainly could keep me satisfied if theres as much customisation as a midnight club!
arghh I cant get any details on it :( anything to do with online games is blocked by work, super sad face.
well that just cant be good for their blood pressure! =P Very sad!
The car customization looks really cool! So freeking hyped for this game I cant wait!
exclusives create competiton between develpoers and consoles, competition pushes boundaries and prevents complacancy, the worst thing to come from exclusives is if you want one so bad that you have to go out and buy another console, and thats hardly a bad thing, not if your a gamer.
If I remember correctly, he found the evidence to confirm what most people thought/hoped about the price of PS4 games, the price of the ps3 and ps4 special editions of the game were the same price, but hidden in code.
At least thats what I recall of the top of my head.
I hate that! Trophies when you need to rely on a bunch of random people to complete always suck. If I see a game that has online trophies these days I just straight away say Im not getting the platinum, unless its something like far cry 3, co-op trophies arent too bad.
One that sticks in my mind was a trophy on assassins creed online for killing people while hidden in a hay bail, I spent allot of time in those bails of hay and never once did anyone come past -.-
I hope there is no invisible walls! I dont mind a physical blockade that I can see but when you see a cool area and think ooo i'll head over there then bam your hit by a magical force field, that really annoys me!
I actually really enjoyed FF13 and 13-2, i'll probably be strung up for saying so but I'm looking forward to this!
Box art is pretty nice although when my games are on the bookshelf I only ever see the side of them anyway so not something I really get excited over.
Well tickle me excited!
I know what you mean, there are so many jaw droppingly beautiful moments, the story is so simple yet engaging, its more of an experience than just a game!
There is actually allot of replayability too if you get into it, have you made it to the secret garden?
There's something about sony that just lets you know they are dedicated to gamers when you sit down and start playing one of their consoles, its hard to describe, its like when you drive a BMW, even the every day cars feel like they have been designed by someone who loves the experiece of driving, in the same way Sony seems to love the experience of gaming! (Yes I know $$$ is a huge incentive, but with no enthusiasm for what they do I doubt they would be the gaming company they are today)...
Started listening to this podcast a few weeks ago! Very enjoyable with a good cast, everyone seems impartial too which is nice, no major hating on any console is always good. Will certainly be an avid listener from now on!
Im glad SOTC game is doing well and more people are getting to experience it!
It was one of those PS2 games, for me personally at least, that was a defining moment in my gaming history. I always blabber on to friends about this game and force them to try it!
p.s it actually looks really good in 3D too!!
I really like the idea of free to play games, over the years I have downloaded a good few onto my PC but due to the fact my PC sucks so bad Ive never got massively into them.
I will certainly be giving this game and any other F2P games a chance on PS4, I think its a really cool chance for people to try new genres too that maybe they've thought about but never wanted to put money into trying.
I've been toying with the idea of getting a vita for a long time, I dont think Im alone when I say that the features of the PS4 will be the push I need to go out and buy one!
I have a rediculous back log of PS3 games to get through so I will not be getting rid of mine any time soon, or ever come to think of it! I still keep my repaired launch 60GB model under my tv just to look nice next to the newer smaller model, the workhorse that now gets all the gaming abuse.
Im really looking forward to this! It looks fantastic and sounds like it could be really addictive with friends!
I just hope the controls feel nothing like halo, I found myself feeling to disconected from the character on that game, no weight to the aiming and the floating jumps and movements...no more of that please!
