TheGameFoxJTV - that's understandable to say. however - i thought what they made for the VGA was really flat without just a touch of a in-game footage. i thought resistance, ME3, MK(showing off kratos!) and UC3 were much better just because of that fact. certainly i don't expect any of these new games to show extensive footage - but that video from bioware came off as very stale. heck, they could have just twittered the announcement rather than make that video.
also - what happens if sony drops the price of ps3 to 199?
they do?.......i suggest you look at a software comparison and then try to make that statement.

and message to the stories contributor "thehip14" - your title is bogus. sony has been putting out GREAT games for the last several years and has almost eliminated the 1 year head start that the 360 enjoyed. and look at their game line-up......do you really have to ASK if next year will be ANOTHER great year for ps3?
that statement makes me wonder: if they're SO anxious to show it off, why did the VGA trailer not even offer a 5 second in-game look?
hey - i'm excited for the game (as long as the main story is better than the first game) but i think that's a legit question. it doesn't make sense for them to say they can't wait to show it off since that is exactly what they decided to do when creating the VGA trailer.
snake - ME3 is a first day purchase! that trailer was great. i loved the mood/atmosphere it created.
it's all about ME2 for me.
roster looks pretty good. i really wish joe louis, ken norton, and larry holmes was in it.
tab, i play games to RELAX. when i want a workout - i go out into the REAL world and go to a gym, tennis court, golf course......etc...
maybe - but when we got dead nation a couple weeks ago was awesome......that game is sooooooooooo much fun.

i'm also SUPER stoked for ME3 after seeing the trailer. i can't tell everyone how happy i am at the ME series coming to ps3 so i can play!.

why don't they make a game using the der riese nazi factory? that place is huge and there is clues to a story all over the playable map.

gun to my head? i'd take UC3 because i like the mystery/adventure surrounding searching for a mythical city. it's like playing an adventure movie.
but, ME3 is only a hair behind. they're both day 1 buys for me!

active reload - what the he11 is your problem. forza 4 showed nothing. ME3 showed next to nothing (although i loved it!).
batman showed nothing..........yet you keep bring up UC3 and it showed more gameplay than any of the above mentioned games.

my biggest disappointment? we've been hearing for over a month how sony was going to announce a BIG game (seperate from what is shown on VGA) the day after the awards show - and now we find out the internet sites that reported it apparently just made it up.

Serjikal_Strike - hey, buddy - i beat the game in SP. what works on those guys is either the flame thrower or the blade cannon. try and use them only if you're cornered or if there is more than one (which is going to happen!) if you have a chance - stay away and get off one power shot with the rifle right before he jumps then back off so when he lands - he'll miss you. then just pepper him with several rifle shots (i'm assuming your rifle has been fully upgraded by this stage) a...
