gamingdroid - gears is a huge seller for the same reason halo is a big seller.........there isn't that many quality exclusives on the 360 (or original xbox) when halo1 launched - there was literally almost nothing happening with that console. so, when it hit- the fans picked up on it. same thing for gears. when 360 launched, there weren't many quality titles - then gears1 hits.

but then, crysis is only "king" if on pc because of the high end pc rigs available - when put on a neutral field (consoles) KZ3 looks better - ergo, KZ3 is BETTER. seriously, pc fans - you don't think a pc version of KZ3 wouldn't (at worst) look exactly like pc crysis? if you deny that, you're dreaming.

i don't get CVG comments either. they b1tch about the guns kicking in KZ2.......now they're saying the guns in KZ3 need to be tweaked because they're TOO accurate? sounds like CVG is already revving up the "negative review mill"!
trounbyfire - i believe your sincerity and don't think you're trolling. but you have to consider that each game has its own artistic style to match the atmosphere of the game. the resistance games are set in an alternate reality 1950s era world - and (i believe) insomniac has done a remarkable job to capture a look that reflects it. certainly, KZ3/crysis2 graphics wouldn't fit in here as they would "modernize" the game too much.
