i've never played ME games and i liked the ME2 demo - only thing i think hurt it was how at the beginning there isn't much for people to do but watch - that might leave some folks a little hesitant about the game.
but, i can't wait - ME games and the L4D series are the 360 games i've been dying to play.
now, if only valve would give us ps3 people some kind of L4D!
i don't think of nathan as a "thief" - i think of him as an adventurer and treasure-hunter. if they turned him into a thief - i wouldn't like that at all.
agreed on the animation - and the gameplay seems so intuitive. there aren't words to express how amazing that game looks/plays.......and they still have 10 months to work on it?
insomniac better "bring it" with resistance3 because GG and ND are definitely doing just that with KZ3 and UC3!!!
i enjoyed the demo. i liked the conversation wheel and found the story to be VERY interesting. the game has a nice look to it and i can't wait to play!
one thing that hurts the demo (for people like the guy above) - since it's a demo, they should've focused on gameplay from the start. i could see where some were turned off by having to sit and wait around for a bit at the start. also, i'm not overly fond of the "special powers" but they're not ...
LunaticBrandon - doesn't it seem odd to you that x360 and ps3 owners talk about a variety of games and pc gamers seem to only talk about 1 game? it sure seems odd to me. if all of these multiplat games are superior on pc - why don't people buy more of them for pc than consoles? the reality is that console games sell MUCH better than pc games even though pc games are cheaper! the looks really don't matter to me as i like console gaming better than pc gaming and it has nothing to do...
it just doens't seem that interesting to me.
so, you 3 disagrees - care to list that plethora of games for the pc that sell millions and look as good as KZ3, UC2, MGS4, both p3 ratchet games, GoW3, heavy rain......etc....etc.....
it's just odd that pc fan comes on these threads EVERY day of EVERY year and the ONLY game they mention is crysis - sounds like all those high-end pc rigs do is gather a lot of dust when not playing crysis. LMAO
Arup02 - let me ask you something - pc people jump in and start yelling crysis - do ANY of you have even ONE other game on pc you can tout (because none of you ever mention ANY other games)?
i'd rather play on consoles and have a HUGE variety of CURRENT QUALITY experiences than have to cling to a 3 year old game.

edit: at InTheKnow (below) - you've got to be kidding? that snow is PITIFUL next to UC2 or KZ3.
alpha - i don't necessarily agree - early on in UC2 (right around the train area) there was a gun battle in a blizzard. the wind whipping the snow to make a "moving cover" that obscured the line of sight and made an awesome experience. i'd love to see a level in KZ3 fighting helghast in a blizzard - it's a very unique situation.
Dsnyder - i guess the devs who make these games are idiots, then? they said months ago that this next game was NOT in any way related to demon souls and that they MAY make DS2 at some point.
edit: at UCMEandICU - yea, i WOULD welcome the project dark game. if it's that DS style of game in a different medieval time......that'd be awesome!(although i'm wanting a proper DS2 sequel even more -maybe a world behind that broken arch?)
